Might try the wrap this year then!

One season in. Supposed to last 10,000 rips? lol okay. Literally the only thing I hate about this boot.
Put a pair of these on my wifes r3's

That is perfect. Need to order 4 of those.
Love my R3 130's but have beat the crap out of them at the resort. Finally broke my aftermarket DRI insert at the end of last season.
Looking at an Element 120 to replace them for resort daily driving, thinking they may be a little more suitable for resort pounding.. Anyone know if they have the DRI?
Any other differences to be aware of?
^^^ Beat the crap out of them as in the plastic took a beating? I still sled ski a bit and that is hard on boots but really interested in these ones.
They are mostly fine. Grim land is chewed up on the inside of the boot since I’m a shitty skier.
I also retrofitted in DRI insert that callmeal hooked me up with in my 2nd year on the boots. Loved the way the boot skied with that - made it about 50 days with that “custom” install before it popped and tore up some of the rear plastic.
FWIW, I bought another pair from ski base for 560 cad, shipped free to us.
They do have the DRI. Fit is very similar the the R3, but after skiing most of last season on the Element 130, at the end of the season I went back to my R3's and found that I liked those a little better in overall feel and forefoot fitting with the cable rather than the buckle the Element has. The top buckle on the R3 is about the only weak point, but even with that in mind, I like the way the R3 skis.
This season I'll probably be spending more time skiing my Elan Wingman CTi's and it sounds like I'm getting hooked up with some Elan Primetime demos too, so I ordered a pair of the R/Fit Pro 130's for this season. It will be the first overlap boot I've skied in over 15 years - kinda looking forward to it!
I’ve got a brand new pair of factory liners (intuition tongue) out of a 27.5 R3130 that I replaced with a tour wrap. For Sale, 50$ plus shipping if anyone is interested. Never been skied or heated.
Question on the middle buckle cable. On my boots it doesn't seem to fit correctly over the "bulge" in the shell. Anyone else have this issue?
How did the tour wraps fit in your R3 130s? Which year do you have?
Been wanting to replace the factory tongue liners with a wrap, but the R3 shells are so low volume I haven't pulled the trigger. Tried to use a pair of Pro Wraps I had laying around just for resort days and they were never going to fit in the shells.
Would be great to hear how a pair of intuition tour wraps fit in there. Any issues or all sweet?

Only drilled a hole for the buckle, catch holes are already there. Made a 3mm shim attached under the walk mode lever to increase the forward lean.

Got a few runs in on Friday, man they ski nice but one day on the sled just destroyed them. Going to glue a bike tire between the toe and heel blocks.
Yea I found it hard with the velcro to get equal tension between both boots.
This will fix that-

Threw my hat in the ring with a pair of 2022 fluoro yellow, purportedly NWT never-baked boots
paypal has forked it over & shipping label has been created
Hopefully they show as advertised
Coming from ax120…thinking this will work for my high arch feet with a punch for width
I have the 22-23 brown boots. 27.5 I hate tongue liners so didn’t ski them at all. I actually bought 3 liners to use, as I patrol in these boots 10 hrs a day, 4-5 days a week. 27.0 Tour Wraps, 28.0 Godivas and 27.0 Pro Wraps. I use the tours for days I’m standing around/touring. Godivas are for most days when I’m doing a bit of everything and ProWraps are for days I’m banging out laps.
I really like the Tour Wraps although the foam is significantly softer than the other liners so I’m expecting they will pack out relatively quickly.
found these, $325 shipped to my door

they appear pristine, so just gotta go thru them tonight to make sure nothing's out of spec
R3 130 T.I. I.R. Neon/Neon 25.5 we have one pair of these left for 50% off PM me here if you want them.
Plus shipping and taxes if you aren't near Fernie.
Skied the resort for the first time in these. WOW.... I can't wait for more of the hill to open, these feel so full of energy. Super pumped.
I duct taped a 3-4mm piece of plastic to the walk mode to increase the forward lean and was pretty psyched on the result. Much more difficult to go from walk to ski mode, but whatever, going to make that mod permanent.
I totally agree that these boots are full of energy. I find myself gapping bumps on every turn, looking for every little side hit. Just fun. Back to back with an overlap boot it's crazy how much lateral stiffness you lose with these, but idk that kind of adds to the fun factor. Smear and pop. If I want to rail groomers I'll ski a different boot.
The rearward rom on these is garbage, but with the tongue popped forward (or removed) the forward rom is great and I still find it hard to believe how light they are considering how hard you can ski them. Any tour that doesn't have much flat, I'll probably be skiing these. And having a fucking great time.
Not my sale but saw these 26.5 on Denver FB. No description but look in decent shape. $150

How is the size on the new R3 compare to FT? Need to change boots for this season. Have 26,5 on my FT.
I would say similar foot length, slightly more last, taller cuff.
Also, shell on the R3 is made from Nylon, compared to the PU on the FT stuff, so it wont hold up as well long term.
Lateral midfoot fit was very odd for me compared to the ft. Bindings were an issue because of the sillyness with the FT non-standard bsls. Ultimately I went with the Cochise and very much miss the linear flex.
Generally fit was more similar to the dalbello downhill booth with pins than the FT ime.

Loving these so much but I was pulling my liner out to dry yesterday and the tongue popped right off. The little tab that connects them to the boot has busted. Reached out to Roxa. If no warranty any thoughts on repairing?

Yeah could heat it up and kind of get it slipped back into place with a little force, and then maybe plastic weld some extra support once its in. It's definitely only there to hold the tongue to the pivot clip.
Id actually try to replicate what's on the lupo, way easier to take the tongue off/on the boot using that method.
Maybe use a thumbscrew and a rivnut?
^^^ already tried the heat gun, got it back in but when I went to put the boots on the same thing happen, I think its pooched (the plastic bit). Was thinking of a thumb screw/riv nut. See what if anything warrant says.
Be careful pulling your liners out.
I was compare the original insole to my custom made from my 25,5 mondo pointed boot. It was 1,9 mm different so they are not big in size…
Roxa got back to me, sending a new tongue or boot, not sure which yet. Good service.
