Congrats on all the awards, so well deserved. I find myself randomly watching segments of the film just to get stoked on skiing.
No complaints about Vimeo here. Streaming and download are fast, even at 4K, but I'm on Telus fibre optic internet.

Congrats atrain. I'll have to watch your work. Been a while since i sat for a ski flick, but this sounds good. I like the idea of film makers and not big studios making movies.
Numinous has to be my favorite flick of the last few years. IMO the hip hop/rap what ever I'm not a fan of in any movie. But it by no means down grades this film. 2 thumbs up ! 3 if I had them.
Signed,
No one of consequence.
We have a little instagram contest going on to win some schwag if anyone is interested. @dendritestudios
Thanks for watching!
I loved Sammy in To Be, but Kye deserved best performance by a male. He might be the best skier in the world right now.
His fellow pro skiers would agree. Kye just won Freeskier Magazine's Skier of the Year award which is very significant because it is voted on by fellow pros, and he won it in a landslide. Kye gives a great, gracious, insightful interview here...https://freeskier.com/stories/kye-pe...-the-year-2017
Bunch of new tour stops added on our website. Free screenings at Patagonia stores all next week with Kye in attendance.
Salt Lake, Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, Waterbury Vermont.
Couple stops in Hakuba and Tokyo with Kye there as well in Feb.
Hey! Hope you make some $ on the great work.
I would like to see your work not be a "Flash in the Pan"
Moral support from me
Athan, looking forward to the Waterbury showing. Unfortunately googling Vermont Trailer store isn't providing a clear address in Waterbury.
https://www.facebook.com/VermontTrailwear/
2653 Waterbury Stowe Rd
Waterbury Center, Vermont
They are a partner store with Patagonia apparently.
Enjoy!
Cool, Thanks!
Any chance you’ll come to Boise? I’ve watched it ten times already, but I’d come to a premier for sure! :)
Nothing planned for Boise.
We have a crash edit up which is a worthy watch, because everyone loves watching people eat shit...

Also the film is finally available on iTunes for those who prefer that method...https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/numinous/id1333473782
Those were some big beat downs at Chatter. Props to the crew for getting back up and nailing it! Well documented and another great edit A-Train
You call yourself pros. I can crash so much better than you
Bump. How much do I Iike this ski movie? Bought it originally on Vimeo then bought it again for convenience on iTunes several months later. Hope you and Kye (and Cal and crew) do another one... it has quickly become one of my favorites. At the very least I hope this adds to the stoke and encouragement to do more, because it’s very much appreciated.
Watched it front to back a couple times before the start of this ski season and play random segs here and there. As I said before, this will forever be the benchmark of coastal BC stoke (unless Dendrite/Kye do another film).
I believe this is the benchmarkAttachment 263413

Heavy Hitting was part of what made me move to BC from New Mexico at 18 years young. So you could say that Heavy Hitting was one of many things that created Dendrite. That VHS was oh so good. Cool fact one of the creators of that film Feet Banks was our MC at the world premiere of Numinous in Vancouver.
On our vimeo there are Logan's segment, Kye's Chatter segment, and a head cam edit as well now from the film.
Great work, Athan. Love your soundtracks, too.
If i knew anything about technology i could put it on youtube but i have no idea how to digitize a vhs

Front yard, back yard.
Thank you, Atrain.
.
legend for posting that.. already own the movie but still
some all time parts in that film
Thanks for posting up. Yep we just released on YouTube for free after a few years on various svod channels. That year it won all the ski industry awards. We’ve been laying low the last few years working on other producers projects outside the ski industry. I had two kids. Nic was building his own home from scratch. We are getting the wheels turning again and pitching some projects around. Looking forward to getting back in the mountains after a few years out of them. Hope Numinous stokes some people out who never saw it before!

Thanks dudes. Best ski movie ever. Editing/cinematography/sound design are all amazing. Story told perfectly through editing with no dialogue. Petersen was on a heater at that time as well- some crazy lines
kye is still on a heater
for those who haven't watched it, check out the sacred grounds stuff
hes underrated, hope to see him make an appearance at natural selection
Not sure I ever got to see this one. It’s a nice rainy day to smoke a fat one and watch some skiing.
