"Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder" was the whimsical nom de plume of Nicky Hopkins. Hopkins was one of the most unique R&R keyboardists around, playing mostly as a studio musician from 1964 until his death in 1994. In addition to QMS, he played with the Stones, the Who, the Beatles (as a group and individually), Jeff Beck, Jerry Garcia, Donovan, Steve Miller, Frampton and the Jayhawks. He considered himself to be the reincarnation of Frederic Chopin. It starts to really roll around 5:00.

Live video from the "Up In Smoke" tour I was at in Worcester in 2001. They toured all over and decided that the Centrum was the venue they wanted for the documentary. What a great fucking collection and performance.

And I know I'm breaking the r00lz... but the intro video for Dre was all time. The beat when the gun fire starts is stupid.

So this might be a mix and not just one song, but this doesn't deserve to get lost in the dnb thread where it'll probably only be seen by Skier666. Listen to this through some decent speakers/headphones and enjoy the vibe.
