follow your bliss
great find Woodsy :yourock: however, I shouldn't have watched that hear at work. :( jeez I'm going to miss skiing with him, his smile, his good mood and his laughter .... will be making turns for him this afternoon as if he had just arrived from A-Town to chase a storm like he did so many times in the past
matt, if you are coming over and need a place to stay let me know.
Service is at 530 on sat afternoon top of Ajax
Cool video. At the end "Heaven" was attributed to Widespread Panic but is a Talking Heads' song from Fear of Music.
Nice video, Woodsy. CO, Aspen, and tgr all lost one of the good ones. My sincere condolences.
Ah, damn. Never met him but feel a sense of loss nevertheless.
My heart goes out to Jane, his family, and numerous friends. Tomorrow should be a special day on Ajax.
Damnit. Bit late on the draw here, but I finally made the connection between the name and raddam. One of the best old-school maggs. RIP buddy.
So sorry to hear this. I always loved his TRs/pics. My condolences to his family and friends.
Sadly never met, but my heart is still heavy. Always had a great energy in his TRs/posts along with an infectuious love for powder and friends.
More importantly, he meant a lot to everyone, especially many close friends here on the Board.
Much love to his family and friends- may he continue to inspire you and your love for the mountains.
Running laps on Squaw today with WSP playing for Adam.
Signed, one of the hundreds of valets, bellman and doormen who had the pleasure of working with and sking wirh Adam.
Follow your bliss
RIP ...
Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
For as long as there is memory,
They'll live on in the heart.

Absolutely amazing how many people's lives were touched by Adam.
FYI-The memorial has been moved to The Belly Up due to the gondi not running because of wind. Still at 530pm. I'm a good friend of Jane in case people are wondering who I am/where this info came from.
This was just passed my way. I figure many here would enjoy it.

Aspen community steps up for one of its own
Once again Z.G. has been reminded why Aspen is the best place on earth to live.
In the days following the devastating death of Adam Dennis who perished in an avalanche last week, this community stepped up in its typical spirited and giving way. Adam’s life and death moved a mountain of people and brought a community together.
His memorial service was planned to be at the Sundeck atop Aspen Mountain on Saturday. But violent winds forced the closure of the gondola and a new venue had to be found.
Adam’s friends got on the horn and within an hour, were able to secure six different locations with minimal pleading. Z.G. wants to thank those who offered up their venues: The Inn at Aspen, the Aspen High School, the Aspen Institute/Aspen Meadows, the Maroon Bells Lodge at T Lazy 7 and the Aspen Skiing Co. It was amazing and mind-blowing proof that we do indeed take care of each other.
The service ended up being held at the Belly Up, thanks to the graciousness of proprietor Michael Goldberg. Z.G. thinks it’s where Adam wanted it all along, since his love of music was the connector for so many. Like so many nights, Adam’s friends filled the club to near capacity on Saturday evening. Z.G. and Adam’s friends and family thank you Michael, from the bottom of their broken hearts.
Greg Jurgensen offered up The Palace for the after-service festivities, which was a perfect spot for hundreds of people to listen to Adam’s favorite music and celebrate his 38 years on earth, gracing so many with his great big heart and smile.
And if that wasn’t enough, part-time Aspen resident Andrew Cader made it possible for friends and family to gather on a special ski day at Aspen Mountain on Monday, a day after its official closing. Cader bought the exclusive ski day to benefit Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club, and invited Adam’s friends and family to be part of what was perhaps the most healing experience for a group grieving the loss of such a great person and dynamic spirit.
Under the classic Colorado blue sky and soothing sunshine, and with a few inches of fresh snow on the ground, a small posse of Adam’s family and friends were able to connect with him, each other and the mountains. The day served as a reminder of how connected he was to our natural environment and why we are too.
R.I.P. Raddam. Clearly this community loves you for everything you brought to it.
... thank you; thank you .... tears my soul apart i couldn't be there for 1 and only 1 more important reason. Love you Adam; love you so much and miss you already my friend!! Absolutely cannot wait to see your smile and hear your laughter and show you how to ski some pow up in Heaven buddy ; )
RIP
great contributions over the years. Clearly leaving a void in this world.
Way to live.
I don't know if those are Adam's skis in that photo, but that pic certainly brought me to tears.
I guess if there was ever a maggot who was a model bro, it was Adam.
No question, Splat! He was as good as it gets !!! Bros look good in his place of honor.
Thanks Karl and Splat!! Both of you kook are top of the rung for sure!! P.S. I love that this thread has more views than any other thread this season other than locale snowpack update threads and the Smith give a way thread  Please, mags, lets make this the most viewed thread or all this season .... the Rad Man's legend deserves it ........
Ditto here too... :)
Happy to offer my condolences to friends and family . . . and add to the tribute of this thread . . .
Damn... I just checked into TGR for the first time in a while, and just saw this. This is truly sad.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. He was a great guy, and will be missed by many.
rip..............
One of the sets of skis that we put in his shrine were those baby blue bros from the day that you, Laurent and I met up at Alta - what more can you say!? That was one of the best days ever - fitting for one of the best humans ever!
His loss is a heavy blow - the aftershocks are really just beginning.
Adam was simple the BEST!
Hope you're well! RK
Wow, just saw this thread. So sad to hear! I met Adam about five years ago in Snowmass. It was one of those, "oh, you're from the internet" moments. Great guy! What a tragic loss. Condolences to his family.
Still cant believe Rad wont be around sending me music or funny comments, wont be around in UT or Aspen to let me keep up with him on the mountain cuz he was just nice like that.
Besides all the great memories we all have, he is survived by his work.
