^^ the whole lineup is good, I like Fruition and Kitchen Dwellers quite a bit
Tonight at Stratton, stoke level is high.
Let’s Fucking Go!
What a great fucking night! Great weather at 2,000’, cool and breezy, perfect for a southern Vermont hippie throw down. Western Mass and southern VT are still keeping it real and they represented hard last night, place was going off, no joke.
Elective set but straight out of late ‘78 and or early ‘79, opened with a 15 minute Shakedown, so many highlights in both sets including Lisa doing a great version of Sunrise. Peggy-0 was incredible, lazy lightning>supplication built to a massive peak. Help>Slip>Frank second set opener, techno drums followed by a Close Encounters space, The Wheel, Iko, St Stephen, Morning Dew, so many Jerry bangers!
One of the loudest shows I’ve seen in a long time. Jeff has a new rig, looks like Tiger but it’s the Wooly Mammoth, it’s so cool!
Go see DSO!

Still killing it! Went to last night’s show in Rutland. They did a 50 years ago tonight show. Absolutely slayed 3/16/73! Sound was so good in that old theater.
MNIAW was two rows behind me, that was cool.
Vermont crowd was into it, other than some douche talking loudly in the balcony during the quiet part of Morning Dew, the fuck?
I’m heading to the Wang Center for tonight’s show! He said Wang, heh heh. Butthead voice
Wang Center was called the Boston Music Hall, back in the day. Some legendary Dead shows were played in this building.
DSO recreated 11-14-78 from the Boston Music Hall.
I love ‘78 Dead, ragged but right!
Outstanding Sugaree opener, they nailed Passenger, closed the first with a rocking Miracle. Second opened with Bertha>Good Lovin, which they slayed. Post drums, Wharf Rat>NFA>GDTRFB was as good as any live music I’ve ever seen. These guys are freaking on it!

^ I saw Springsteen there in '77. Worked that show as an usher. Pretty good gig.
Whoa! Very cool gig
Is anyone going to the Zen Tricksters tonight on Long Island? Wife doesn't want to go so I might rally down solo.
Looks like a ‘71 show tonight in Hartford

They did something really cool last night. Played an elective set with a bunch of rarities in the vein of ‘70-‘72. Silver Thread, Race is On, Sitting on Top of the World, Big Iron amazing, Big Boy Pete, Dancing in the Street>Tighten Up. Lisa blew the roof off with her incredible version of Dylan’s Masters of War. Wicked fun night at the Infinity Theater
Tomorrow and Tuesday in Deerfield Mass, anyone else?
Any New England mags that like John, he’s gonna be playing at Sugarloaf this winter.
