hey, my buddy Mike is playing at the Kickapoo tonight, he's in the Rojos Calientes.

What are they opening for top to bottom, Copper or Spar?
Any word on Highlands opener next weekend? Have they had a chance to boot pack the bowl? Steeplechase?
If it's not worth traveling for next weekend, I am going to St. Anton. But that will cause a divorce and I was starting to like her again.
Spar would open first, but there isn't enough snow on Little Nell yet, so I don't know where it would go. I haven't heard anything about Highlands, especially since we have had so little snow up to this point. I think everything is going to change in the next two days, so I would ask again this week.
Not a whole lot happening yet, but the Storm Watch doesn't even start until 5 PM and there are already several inches up top on Ajax.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The dude I am seeing is named Hubie and he is apparently playing mandolin with some band. He is more of a friend of a friend though and I haven't seen him in ages.
there some good precip moving through southern Cal right now headed that way. we are getting more rain than expected, so hopefully that means more snow than expected for those of you in CO. enjoy. wish i was there.
Vail to open at least 550 acres and 14 lifts for tomorrow. Has not been crowded at all thus far. Headed to Keystone tonight, assumming 70 doesn't get shut down. It's on like Donkey Kong.
I'm not sure why people think CB, WC, and Telluride are going to open all this terrain THE DAY they get the snow. Sure, they may open a run or two extra on top of what they already have, but give them a day or two to get shit scoped out.
I'd just like to take this opportunity to say
Let the wrath of huDge gurge begin!!!
Praise Ullr!!!

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!
This thread jinxed it.

39 and raining in Vail. Wow, that used to never happen this time of year.
I still have this odd feeling that it is going to pan out for us.

You douche bags that had to check the weather forecasts after they had hit optimal stoke level and post back here are all on ignore for hashing my pow buzz.
I've been too busy to check TGR all day. So, I just read through this entire thread. It was kinda like a coke high. I got really really buzzed at the beginning and now I'm depressed and all I can think about is getting more snow.
I'll be in breck tonight. Probably hit Vail tomorrow.
Fuck Ullr.
No...fuck Ullr because Cali ain't getting any
"Would you say we have a plethora of rain"
"A what?"
"A plethora"
"Oh yes. You have a plethora.”
”Jefe, what is a plethora?”
...
“Could it be that once again Ullr is angry at something else and is looking to take it out on us?"
Fuckyesfuckyesfuckyesfuckyes.
Don't have to volunteer tonight. Let's rock and fuckin' roll. I think the plan is to stay in Saguache and check the snow totals in the morning. Unless it would be prudent to keep Telluride on the snow radar...
I'm gonna ride in to wherever I end up tomorrow morning, just like Dusty. Nyah! Nyah!
Seriously dude, you're full of it. I'm in Vail right now, and it's not raining. It hasn't rained at ALL todasy.. It's not 39 degrees, it's 28 degrees.
Here is proof- http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...d2=-106.39&e=1
So now that we've established it's 28 degrees, not 39, here's the average high for this date. http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...&climoMonth=11
Yup, average high is 29 degrees. Quit drinking the kool-aid.
Game.
Set.
