I thought to get the $99 price you had to register before Nov 1. I'm sure I read that somewhere in some thread.

If I typed that, I was in error. There's no deadline that I remember.
Is anyone driving up from SLC? I'd love to go, but won't have a car.
After reading this thread and seeing the pimp pad on page 1 I'm very interested in driving from PC/SLC area. Let me check with the "boss" and I need to confirm another trip to CO front range that I have brewing for this season. 2 trips to CO this year may be too much CO for me :D
This guy is from SLC. You still in Tri U?
Anyone know the drive time from telluride-slc? I'll probably be doing that right after the summit.
And I finally registered, so I'll definitely be at Silverton. :)
About 6 hours SLC ToHellYouRide, in good conditions and moving reasonably fast with only breaks for fuel. I think I'm still in, though I've been playing phone tag with Jen and Aaron and still haven't set up my Silverton rez. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to make it out for the early week festivities at Asspen, though I might still try. Dunno when I'm leaving maybe Tue PM or Wed AM. You in K? It should be a fun road trip fo sho, and San Juans are way more fun than the FR.
Damn, all this sounds soooooo fucking awesome. Why can't my Spring Break be this week. I think I'm beginning to feel sick............
email or pm us your phone number if we have still not connected. It is has been a busy couple of weeks.... training the new staff and getting the mountain ready to open....so sorry for the phone tag. ---thanks for your patience---Jenny
Still rock ski conditions with this latest storm?
^^What do you think?

Buster...PM sent for password.
I'll plan on staying at the Red Mtn place on Wed night. And will most likely stick around for some Tride Fri and maybe Sat.
EDIT: I'm confirmed for the 29th.
Hey,
I've had a change of plans and wanted to offer up my maggot discounted pass for the day @ silverton at a slightly more discounted rate. I would take up the slack with Jen and Aaron.
So, 80 bucks for the day to help me get out of it.
PM me.
pm sent. I'll take it for Marshall.
reid, pm sent. I just have to follow the procedure for cancellation laid out by Jen and Aaron when I reserved. will let you know.
D.
I don't know man. The truth is I have paid little attention. My plan is to go back through the thread and make a list of peeps who already said they are in when I get back into the states in mid-Jan. At that time, it will be time for people to commit and a real list will emerge. Right now the answer is, for sure, fewer people than both huts comfortably hold, so I haven't worried about it. It seemed kind of ridiculous to try and get people to commit when I had to book the huts a few months ago. I put it out there so that it could percolate in the backs of people's minds until Jan. Rest assured you are already on the non-exisitent list;)
I'm seriously thinking about making this - put me on the non-existent list.
Also - I'm too overwhelmed by all the summit threads, haven't kept up, haven't read since they started, now they're all 4 pages. Someone want to give me the Cliffs Notes version? I know I have to pm someone for the Silverton part of it - but was it decided to extend the Silverton part of it, because that's the part I'm interested in doing, and doing for more than a day.
First, PM Buster for secret password
Then follow #1
and expect some phone tag.
then check out some of the acomidation possibilities that reidhresko is putting together (to be updated soon-like Jan).
As far as I can tell, Thursday at Silverton is the only "solid" day so far.
Most is in this thread but I think Max & Yoss are working on A$$pen stuff for earlier in the week (other threads).
Thanks for all the pm's and for all the info --
One thing to clarify, though. Lots of pm's saying things about avalanche safety courses, etc. I'm a total bc jong. Don't think I can get it together in time for all the bc being discussed.
You can always hop over the hill to Purgatory or ToHellURide for the day, or snowcat it, or go to Ouray and endulge in the hot springs pool, or... if you feel it's out of your league.
I'd (somewhat reluctantly) add that if you can get some practice in with a beacon, to be able to locate, and can operate a probe and a shovel, one would be able to pull it off. Go see some SAR folks and see if you can get in on some of thier sessions.
