Who are you to judge Yoo’s competency?
The Yoo Memo "argues that there are effectively "no limits" on the president's authority to wage war." (

That is his non-binding legal opinion, which he is entitled to give: It is up to the courts, not the students or yourself, to determine the validity of his assertions as cases permit.
The supreme court, on many occasions, has confined the presidential powers. On many other occasions, it has affirmed Yoo's beliefs. "He" never violated the law; he only provided his non-binding legal opinion. Why should he resign for doing his job?
The right to state our opinions is guaranteed in the constitution. A public university has no right to censor people
I want to make a point here: Yoo's dissent does not make him incompetent. People are entitled to their own opinions in this country; Get used to it.
You are falling into the same trap that those Berkeley sheep fell into. They, in their blind rage toward the incumbent administration, fought against the civil liberties that make this country great, chief among them the first amendment.
Remember that censorship is a double edged sword. How would you feel if the government revoked your job because your opinion was “incompetent.”
Dissent, regardless of political affiliation, should never be silenced.
