What with Brain's first observations about guides and the merits of Gordy actually using a guide in Cham, plus continuing in a "who the fuck is Gordy?" tone for half the thread and then Kanutten chiming in with the priceless comedy piece above, this thread has had me in stiches from the off. Being at home, currently unemployed and crapping myself about mortgage repayments has been made a little more bearable by TGR and this very amusing thread. Thank you.
I'll wait for Hayduke to report back on the Cham trip and save up the £££ for when it happens again. Looks like a wicked trip, hope it goes well.

I'd have thought that a local guide would have seen the snow conditions build up over the course of the season, know where the rocks are, and would be generally a good idea off-piste in Cham.
