I loved the read because you were right behind me. I left Bozeman after Uni in December 2002, moved to Tahoe. I also know some of the mags you skied with IRL. Maybe more, but I don't know everyone's avatar. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that we skied together.

Related to this thread, did a quick search, but any pictures from past Summits? I know I went to BC in '03 and maybe following year in JH?

Ha! I have a yellow lab now with a similar disposition as P-Tex. I gave him the same warning, and that idiot didn't listen, again. I'm pretty sure I'll find out he was eaten by a dog someday.

Great read...thanks for sharing. I'm hiding in the back of that photo somewhere. Amazing how many names immediately popped into my head looking at that. Awesome memory of easys truck in the Alta lot, having a beer after a killer day thanks to Pinner and a cooler in the back of the old Nissan

Well holy shit I got a letter today from a dude I do not know with $50 cash. Thanks to Armchair Extreme. I’ve been posting my whereabouts and happenings on the Powmag website since I started. So all these guys start responding, wanting to help out. I get all these requests for an address so I post the PO Box and people that don’t even know me are sending me cash. I am humbled and amazed. I had no idea people like this still exist. They are sending it, expecting nothing in return, wanting nothing more than for me to continue on my trip.

What you "have" doesn't make you who you are. A ski bum is a ski bum. Lots of really good fine upstanding ski bums out there.
