made it to taos, nice drive through s ut, n az and nm.
there is an affordable gym w a sweet hot tub on the n end of town.

I had one season living at Alta and the sun never came out. 700" of snow. The skiing was life changing, but I did miss the sun on my face.

Couple of things to consider while in Taos
1. If you need to have someone cook you breakfast, go to Michael’s
2. Ask Hotel La Fonda if you can see their collection of DH Lawrence paintings that he did while recuperating at Georgia O’Keefe’s house. It’s usually only open to hotel guests but Ms TBS got us in for the price of dinner

How is the base depth in Taos right now? A friend was talking about going in a couple of weeks.
Weak. Boneyard off groomers. Needs another 2/3 feet of base.
Make sure to get in a soak or two at Manby.
Ppl trashed the parking situation for Manby during covid, homeowners had enough. Closed. Now have to hike a million miles from the rio grande bridge. I'm soaking 2x daily in the hot tub at the gym.
