Lower faces lift.
Way better than upgrading sublette.

Lower tram line is already groomed. And widened last year.
Add a groomer on lower sublette.
Sucks. But opens tourist terrain.
Tourists want to ski the whole mountain. Let them spread to the lower face lift instead of standing in line for thunder.

So many days thunder is full and sublette is half full. If that.
Often thunder is full and Subby is empty.

And a lower faces lift takes pressure off tram and Gondi.
There’s a steady stream on union pass. Might be a lot less with a lower sublette lift. Maybe enough to switch back to the poma. Lol.

But seriously. Thunder detach makes sense. After that, lower faces. Let the tourists ride the lower groomer faces.

Duh.
It’s the groomers.
All you get on sublette is r trail (bivouac option also) or back to Laramie bowl. That’s why they cut a groomer into bird in the hand this summer. But even that doesn’t make sublette a groomer lift.
Thunder has a handful of groomer options.

Corporate thinking is not needed here. The resort is successful and the owners already billionaires. What is needed is preservation, like the fine jewel it is.

I’m shocked they haven’t blown up Cheyenne gully.
