OK Joan Wilder, let's see you write us out of this one.
This thread is more revealing than I thought it would be.
Interdasting
Goonies should have been on my list as well, have seen that a million times.
with a young daughter, I'm sure the disney set will get brought to the top in the next 4 or so years.
Blues brothers for sure. Caddy shack, Star Wars, princess bride, blazing saddles
Jeez, I thought no one was gonna say Goonies, the greatest movie ever made.
Most watched, next to Goonies-
North Shore
Christmas Story
Holy Grail
Life of Brian
Watch it every time it is on TV, and still feel like I see something new-
Shawshank
Green Mile
Stand By Me
Sand Lot
Caddy Shack
Haven't seen it in years, but when I was a little kid I watched Transformers: The Movie way too many times. There's nothing quite like Orson Welles as a giant planet-eating robot death machine.

The Royal Tennenbaums. Everytime I'm sick.
I had a TV in my room growing up and two movies: Red Dawn and Point Break. They made me who I am today.
A Bridge Too Far. In my time in the Navy I spent 18 months on a little rock in the Aluetians called Adak. The barracks had a movie theater, but only 1 movie.
Adak no shit. Haven't been that way in a while. And to answer the question goddamn Dora the explorer. 5 years as a stay at home dad will do that to a guy.
The mummy, wife's favorite.
One of my favorites is Battlefield, a BBS series, very well done. Since I am a history buff I have a ton of documentaries. Also what everyone else has listed as great movies, we have a good sized pre Netflix DVD library.
I owned one vhs as a kid and watched it almost once a week for many years.
-blizzard of aahhhs
Then I moved on to the hippy farm in college and they had two vhs tapes which we watched on a loop.
-Raising Arizona
-Caribbean Nights: The Bob Marley Story
Forgot about Weird Science.
I was so in love with Kelly LeBrock. My pre-pubescent obsession with creating beautiful women in my shower came to halt years later when I realized the technology just wasn't there yet.
