Yeah, they do wander up the Hudson occasionally. I’m always on the look out when I’m home but I’ve never seen one. There have been a few whale sightings in New York harbor lately too.Quote:

Those hens can get pretty sporty if something goes after their poults. One time I watched a couple hens try to kill a red tail after it went after a little one. They weren't just tryint to scare it off, they were going to fuck it up if it hadn't managed to get away.
