Sending the airbag jump on cx bike in Brownie costume during SSCXWCDGO on Saturday.
Next lap I got a bit squirrelly and the was someone on the landing and I got bounced to the dirt quite hard.

This is just a relatively small area and is not on the lists of "must ride" trails in Quebec. The downhills had lots of drops, rolls and jumps.Quote:

^^ Agree on above. Think it's that our trails aren't generally as scenic, but often pack a punch technically with rocks/roots/downed trees.
Definitely not as scenic, generally speaking. There are great views, but you have to find or create an opening in the trees to see them. :DQuote:

The weather went to shit Sunday, partly cloudy with the occasional snow showers in Zion. We fled the mesa and took a lap on the Monkey. No pics (again) cause this is what it looked like as we got on the bike:

Not wanting to experience that trail in the rain or snow we had to haul ass out of there. Perfect conditions with sticky dirt, having the big bike was quite nice when picking the wrong line after not having been on the trail for a year. We did take a peek into Kong, it still looks completely insane but I can more or less wrap my head around the entrance now and I give myself a 50% chance of not falling off the spine right away.
Full on blizzard the second we hit the parking lot, by the time we got to Cedar City the bikes were encased in ice:

For anyone driving I-15 between StG and SLC I highly recommend a pit stop at The French Spot in Cedar City. Little hole in the wall French restaurant on Main St, they've been in Cedar a while and moved location last year. Glorious pastries (the macaroons are legit), great coffee, unreal sandwiches (on legit French baguettes). They can serve booze as well. The chef ran fancy establishments in Paris and NYC before landing himself in the middle of UT.

More from the new stuff we're building in Kingman. The White Cliffs area provides quite an awesome canvas to get creative with. The terrain is dreamy. The lsat completed loop, Skyline is a black diamond tech loop that skirts the cliffs forming the mesa top and climbs up and over other worldly rock formations. If you like tech riding and steep rock rolls, up and down you're going to really enjoy this place. We are designing a ton of b line options and extra credit tech moves.

Looks great! I was talking to the phlebotomist while giving blood yesterday. She said that of the places in her region, Kingman is the worst place to run a blood drive as everyone is angry. Hopefully this will cheer them up!Quote:

Haha! Thanks man. Kingman is a little rough around the edges but I see that as one of it's qualities. I think it's a great sort of under the radar spot to go get a ride in, a kind of anti Sedona/Moab place without any hype. The historic downtown is really very cool but it's also very quiet. These trails will connect to it and you can park right on mainstreet and go for a ride at the White Cliffs.Quote:
