Ooh La Laaaa
a little shot tonight and early tomorrow but the overall pattern still seems pretty warm and dry. Still nice to see some white and start getting the juices flowing.
I figured this would be the best forum to ask this question...
Anybody know of someone who has a reliable snow removal service in Eagle County they can recommend?
PM me please.
love waking up to a white peak one almost every morning lately. felt like upper 30's-low 40's all day today, stoked.
took a crazy cold and snowy hike up Mt. Democrat today....drifts knee deep in spots.
cold front moving in, the bulk of the front should stay east of the divide with some spilling over to cool things down over here too.
Sounds like some good snowmaking will be taking place Friday/Saturday nights. A little sooner too.
cold as shit in boulder. Coldest it's felt since late april. I like it. but it also makes me miss the warmth and long days of summer
actually warmer up here last night then any night this week.
Windy and pretty nice up here today, 55-60.
27 this morning in Clear Creek County and 50 when I got to work in Breck thanks to some shallow cold air not making it over the divide.
1" of snow in Denver...a nice surprise!
^^ Agreed. My puppy's first snow experience was this morning. Needless to say, he was freaking out with excitement. Who knew he would be more stoked than me to see snow falling for the first time this fall.
Pretty sweet sunrise coming through Idaho Springs this morning. Shitty iPhone pic, but whatever.

A basin this morning. Dont get too excited. Now is the beginning of 2 week ski fever. we will be skiing in 2 weeks. its going to go by second by second, slower than mollases.
I have a feeling this winters gunna be good tho.
coldest morning so far...19.
In other news, El Nino seems to be fading so it seems it will be very weak or non existent. Also, the main pattern we had all of last year seems to still be firmly in place. That is a main flow north of CO with storms cutting off and digging south. That pattern sucks, but maybe it changes or maybe unlike last year, a few of those cut off storms actually produce snow for CO.
^This makes me sad.
Some weather this weekend. Looks warm and a SW flow to start but hopefully everyone sees snow by Sunday.
RMNP has a small fire burning in the forest canyon area. Wonder what the potential for cloud seeding is from this event prior to the storm? Dumb question?
Ask yourself what direction the wind is going to be blowing from. Then go smack yourself upside the head.
so we going to be able to do some rock-skiing or at least some ski-rocking after this weekend anywhere in the bc?
i'm going to preemptively smack my self in the head.
