Retirement will be in such a location as to use my practice seasons here in conjunction with my forestry degree with plant science emphasis.
Until then I live through you fine folk and your generous pictures.
Herb is definitely more funner than tomatos.
I learned my first outdoor season not to put the 2 into the same bed
The tomatos were going off the hook and started crowding out my bagseed plants
My head said to myself that
A. I don't like tomatos that much
The 2 plants came out in about 5 seconds
The smallest plant has about 15" spreadAttachment 495071
2' wide in long dimension
Very lightweight
Lattice material I needed to modify since the openings were kinda small. Really tough stuff and also kinda rigid
I'm just going to put between 2 3'bamboo stakes
<can't edit the Lattice material in>

IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH pics!

@berko - how much did your Larry OG stretch in bloom?
Was planning on a six week veg, but now I'm sorta thinking I better switch to bloom soon.
TBS, its been a while, but the only specific memories I have from the Larry OG and gdp plants we have grown are giant fan leaves. I dont think either was a big stretcher.
Agree on flipping sooner
TBS are you have the ability to raise you LED array? Looks like you are getting some amazing veg cycle Attachment 495192
First trellis in place .this is my white runtz
Spent a couple weeks on a sailboat in the BVI recently and did quite a bit of partying... and I gotta say, I kinda appreciated the weed you could smoke a bunch of casually and not be completely incapacitated. :D
Bud Lite?
Session weed
Free weed
My father's day gift will be my first venture in to growing some weed. My dogs were extremely curious, so it went up high immediately.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...10526e5cf3.jpg
Should be fun to watch
I'm trying to fill this space
Maybe another trellis before july1

They are psyched to be around and thru the trellis

They’re filling out that space nicely. They will stretch some in bloom
Ive grown outdoor in this same spot before once before with bagseed
These clones are next level growth rate and terpene
Skunk city right now
Attachment 495440
They are almost 2' tall not counting the lateral
I need to keep them under 6'
I think they will be vegging thru July
You will be vegging until mid-August. There’s still 14 hrs of sunlight on 8/15 @45*N. It takes minimum 10hrs of continuous darkness to induce bloom
I'm going steady with the LST and I'm feeding 50% diluted nutes about every 3rd day

Grasshoppers, arghh! First time outdoor grower here. What can I do about grasshoppers? The only product the local garden shop has is pretty toxic, don't want to do that. Thought about draping some mesh of some sort over the tomato cages, but the mesh I could find is not fine enough to keep the little bastards out. Any good tips?
Have you tried Neem oil?
Or a spray of diatomaceous earth?
A spray of water/garlic might work too. Works with aphids
Did a light foliar neem application last evening @7pm

Try a 4”x4” trellis. There are a bunch of nylon style ones on Amazon. The small squares suck to get untangled for harvest.
Also try that link I just posted up above. That’s way better then neem, doesn’t smell, all natural organic, and can be used in flower with no harm. Weekly IPM is the way to go with it.
