I can see Baldy, Guyot, Red, and Buffalo from my house and don't see any snow on any of them currently. Was kind of expecting to see a little dusting today.
3-7" tonight on Longs. Get some!
Ok, I lied, there's some dust...

i haven't seen any snow here today, I'm sure the Cross got a bit but I haven't seen anything in the Gore. It rained last night but no rain at all today really and not that much cooler. Maybe the cold front is still to come.
When the clouds finally parted, the Gore was still bare. Didn't get a view of HC.
the storm was a southern mover and provided rain and snow for southern areas more than up here really. We got good rain on Tues night but no rain at all yesterday. Pretty typical El Nino type storm track with SWerly flows and the cold front having more of an impact east of the divide.
Looks to be dry and relatively warm for awhile. I'd rather it wait until it's ready to get going for good vs last year where we got a good amount in October then it didn't snow again til Feb.
It did rain in vail yesterday. Nothing big but there were some light showers...
Hiked Evans today...about 4" on the north side still remains. Was interesting to see what peaks got snow (Bierstat, Evans, Lincoln, Bross, Democrat) vs those that missed out (Holy Cross, Quandry, the Gore).
It's spitting snow flakes in Breck.....
What a beautiful and rare morning (in the midst of a drought), it's raining today! Looked like there might have been very slight dusting of snow on the bald spot. Can't wait for winter, I'm ready!!
Old news from the 12th.. but Digi crushed this so:
