love the work in here.... great stuff.
our house was built in '74. the front doors I have always hated as they were painted steel with frosted windows. searched for new doors but WOW! they are very expensive... +2-3k for solid wood of average design.
got a wild hair last winter and found some old solid oak church doors from a refurb for $200. HOURS in the garage last year, cutting, sanding, stripping, sanding, staining and they came out great.....

could not tell you the hours I put into these doors and how high I got sniffing stain remover but these doors rock!!!
would love to find an old school peep hole door out of iron to finish them off.... search continues
and as I tell my wife.... think of all the sinners that have walked through those doors :)
