Doggie stoke

Yea, the fox was pretty bold, I think someone's been feeding it. The sly little bitch tried to steel the nozzle off my camelback and also walked up on top of my car. Cool little creature though. I have to confess I tossed it a cashew to get it to jump in the car. Oh well, its not like its a bear or anything.

He's 12 now, and starting to slow down a bit, but still thinks he's a puppy.

LJ, what's your heeler mixed with? Revo the menace heeler is all heeler, and all menace. Almost 6mths and you'd swear he was a lab. Loves water, if there is no ball or stick he'll just go and swim around like an otter. Do heelers like water like other "water" dogs?

I'm not too sure, but I think mine is a heeler/german shepard mix. If anyone has played the game Fallout 3, he's a dead ringer for the dog in the game, dogmeat.

Supposedly the dog in the game is modeled after the dog from mad max, which was a pure blue heeler, but you can tell the dog in the game (just like mine) is almost twice the size of a heeler.



My heeler loves water, but will not swim on his own unless you throw a ball. Without something to chase after, he'll just wade around. He didn't see water until he was 9 though, so who knows. I don't think heelers really have the water instinct, but that doesn't meant they cant learn.

Bump for dog stoke and the power of such amazing creatures
So one of the therapy dogs in our organization Patty was hit by a car and her back legs are paralyzed. Her owner got her a cart and she is back to work bringing smiles to the faces of kids at shriners hospital.

Last nights visit was really rewarding seeing this and remeeting an English family from Hong Kong who remembered the names of the two now deceased dogs they met over 5 years ago.

I pick it up on August 8th, couldn't be more stoked
