Freya, the gray one is my best friend after 2.
5 years with us. I have insomnia and she often comes to snuggle me until I fall asleep. I love my girls

Vibes needed for my Emma. She's having a tumor removed on her foreleg next Friday. Vet seems optimistic that even if its cancerous it's most likely a cancer that's not likely to spread.
++vibes for the kitteh.
Meanwhile, old kitteh found a new spot to crash. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9a20553a14.jpg
Hoping for the best for Emma.
Yup, hoping that procedure is it.
If she has arthritis there is a shot for that as my dog's got it monthly and it was originally developed for the kitties
I've got a dilemma that I'd love to hear opinions on from other cat lovers.
Since mid summer a young cat has been coming around every few days. At first he was wearing a collar with an air tag in it so clearly he was a pet.
By the start of winter the collar disappeared and he would always be hungry. This has continued and I have now taken him. I suspect he's lost and the collar fell off or he has been abandoned.
He's skinny but otherwise looks great. Based on looks I'm not 100% convinced he was outside 24/7 (his fur is immaculate, no signs of frostbite). Pretty sure he's not neutered. One thing I've noticed is he doesn't want to jump on anything higher than a chair. No visually obvious issues with his hips or legs and he seems to walk fine.
I considered keeping him but financially I'm not in a great spot. It's a shame as he and my guy are getting along pretty well. I've got Found signs up around the neighbourhood and have posted on the local found pet pages. Going to keep him for another day or two hoping to hear from someone but at this point I think it's doubtful.
At this point I have two options - release him (and continue to feed when he visits) or surrender him to the shelter.
If I release him I fear for his safety. We have foxes and coyotes around not to mention a couple busy streets.
If I take him to the shelter he's going to live in a box basically until he's hopefully adopted. I also fear they might diagnose a hip or spine issue and be euthanized.
Feels like a lose/lose situation.
We could probably whip up a cat food fund fer ya if that would help keep kitty from the pound…
fact.
That's extremely kind of you to and greatly appreciated but I'm more worried about onboarding him (neuter plus all the various shots).
Went through this with Timmy a few years ago and it was just shy of $1200 for all that. I'm not asking or accepting that kind of money from anyone.
Maybe talk to the shelter about those expenses as I have seen ours sponsor very low cost shots and neutering by a drive around bus that visits different parts of town randomly to provide services. The pet stores may know of something also.
And ya, I would kick in a hundred to help you save a cat in need, so let us know.
^ yup our HS sponsors spay/neuter for $70
I’m good for a hundo to get Thalia’s new buddy spiffed up.
Has the kitty been checked for a chip?
Thaleia, you're a great cat Daddy. I'd pitch in too. no sweat.
Sorry yeah should have mentioned no chip unfortunately.
Sincere thanks all for the offers (you guys seriously rock) but I'm not looking for donations.
I'm in for a $20. Retired guy here.
Thaleia,
Bottom line, kitty chose you. No getting out of it.
And we are in a good place and are happy to help a solid maggot who is doing a little kitty a world of good. Just pm your Zelle acct info. Thanks man
We’re not donating to you - we’re donating to the kitty! And if you ask the kitty I think you’ll find they accept the offer lol.
Count me in.
