Almost 70 miles and 6100’ elevation in 24 hours.
Great riding this weekend. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Good times :).
Nice job boys (and girls) ...
Any thoughts on the Jamis Renegade Elite 2018 (full carbon, Ultegra components)? I have my eye on a discounted new old-stock one.
Main use would be riding on a mix of paved and gravel roads. I will probably take it on some easy singletrack, and possibly a bit of light bikepacking, but the primary purpose is riding fast on roads of all types.
I currently ride an aluminum frame/carbon fork cyclocross bike (Specialized Crux) for this, but I'm looking for a more cushy ride over rough and washboardy roads, and maybe moving up a frame size.
Other bikes of interest include the Trek Domane (with front and back Iso Speed) and Specialized Roubaix (with front Future Shock). The possibility of more front end compliance from the Iso speed or Future Shock sounds appealing to me, to cut down on handlebar vibrations and jarring, but I have not had the chance to ride either one.
You may already be aware, but if not, these are really well liked. Could be a cheap way to get some compliance on the Jamis if you go that route.
I love my Jamis Renegade, lot of bike for the money. Super stable descender, fly down dirt roads.
I got a 2019 diverge that I love. Rides single track washboard pavement...it’s been a nice summer
Jay Petevary and the Rodeo Labs crew really like the Redshift stem, good detailed bike config breakdown here : https://www.rodeo-labs.com/2020/07/2...igh-route-td3/ Seatpost and stem discussion starts around 5:00
Goniff and I wrapped up the Green Mountain Gravel Growler this weekend by pedaling the southern loop. biggins had joined us for the northern ring but couldn’t make this one. He was missed.
We started/ended at my place in Burlington. 175 miles, almost 13k elevation. Lots of beers along the way (I think I gained weight).
Massive shout out to VT-Freeheel for the Maggiest of hook ups. Not only did we crash in his workshop but he cooked a delicious dinner, plied us with WAY too much bourbon, and even made breakfast in the morning.

^ that is so cool, I’m living vicariously through you over here. looks fucking awesome!
Nice being able to join you all for a bit! The ascent and descent of Waitsfield gap are no joke. Here’s a shot of Peruvian on his way up, and one of clearing at the end of the class IV descent. Attachment 340242Attachment 340243Attachment 340244
Some mighty fine beers, whiskey and grub this weekend. The gravel was good and plentiful, too. Best meal was the one vt-free cooked up for us. Mag hooked us up big. https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/.../thatrocks.gif

Very Jelly. Looks like a great weekend and a lot more fun than building online curriculum. Glad y’all hooked up with Cantdog- yer all good peeps.
Nice work Gents!
We are going to look at a 2020 Kona Rove ST for Mrs. P this evening. 650b wheels (I wanted 700c so we had tire compatibility between bikes), but otherwise a sweet ride.
Edited - Got it!
Wicked!! Need some pics for sure

Now this is a respectable ride.

I can’t find the pedals I thought I had and called every shop around to no avail. I’m stopping in the used bike shop tomorrow. I can’t take a proper pic without some pedals on it.
Edited - Found some used pedals in the bin. I guess the to tube is longer than her old bike (based on frame bag) but I know the stem is much shorter.
