And WP was damn near empty today. What a difference a day makes.
That's surprising, we were up there Christmas tree hunting, but the parking lots looked packed.

Looks like the rookie truck drivers got their first taste of snow. Not like driving in Alabama huh Cletus?
Ugh, Saia is the worst.

FedEx is knocking it out of the park.
Hopefully they put some better drivers in charge of vaccine delivery..https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...36652b8bcc.jpg
I remember a few years ago when I was trying to get to the oral surgeon in Frisco from Dillon in the middle of a good storm. Only route that was open was I70. There were no less than 4 Fed Ex trucks, w/ double trailers, spinning out and putting on chains in the middle of the bridge. All the other truckers had chains on and traffic was cruising through weaving through all the spun out Fed Ex trucks. They must have all gone to the same driving school. :rolleyes2
At least you are using the plural. Ran across more than one FedEx driver some years ago with a “cheater chain” they called it. Singular. Good to see they have advanced.
I can confirm 70 traffic still sucks. 2 hrs from copper, just creeping on 70 where 6 meets up.
seemed like a bunch of cars were getting off 70 in silverthorne and headed towards keystone to go over loveland pass.
Was a big accident somewhere between Bakerville and Silver Plume around 2:30. Traffic went from 0 at 2:15 when we cracked a beer at Herman Gulch to dead stopped at 2:40 when we left. Luckily frontrage road to silver plume avoided all the fuckery.
I just hope they can finish up the westbound lanes soon, it's a little tight and sketchy through I.S.
I was digging the dude selling pumpkin bread at the Berthoud summit, that was a tasty post ride treat :yourock:
People still ski Berthoud? I thought it was so crowded that nobody goes there anymore.
Yup

Ended up 4 hrs from copper to woolly parking lot. Tunnel was metering but the 6 merge was all time fucked up. Wreck was cleared by the time we got to it and was moving good again. The Georgetown overlook was a parking lot of people pissing.
I fall for this 70 shit every early season, I knew better than to go out on a Sunday early season WROD. Got some vert in and was not driving so nice little nap in the back. I think that will be my plan, make others drive, Ill take back seat.
hey, I'm riding that moped Wednesday with non mag, at least I can ski to the lot and grill, not waiting on a dam bus.
