I got my face within a few feet of the exaust pipes on this bad boy the other day. Nothing like 10,000hp hitting you right in the mug.

Here is the car we found for Bushboy. It runs like a scared rabbit. Took it on a 160 mile shakedown run last night with me in the maser running wingman. Ran it up to 125mph with no noted problems. Jr. is driving up the north shore of lake Superior today. That is a great drive.

Great find!
After being the guy that bought a BMW for his kid, all I can say is I hope it works out better for you than it did for us.
He paid for it.
I would like to hope that makes a big difference...........
Upon viewing that M3 on a real screen do I see that it's been lowered?
Has it been ruined?
Shouldn't it?? If his son paid for it, it's not really an overindulgence.
An overindulgence is Dr. Phil buying his son a Ferrari for his 16th birthday. Dr Phil, of all people!!! The same guy who makes his money advising OTHER people on things they should and should not do. The operative word is 'other', obviously!
I'm looking to get into one of these in the next 6 months. Can't afford an X5 so this will have to do.
X3 i35 w/M Sport package
I'll go CPO w/20-35k miles on it

It's nobody's f**king business what kind of car a parent buys for his/her kid. If someone has the money, he/she can spend it how he/she likes. Of course, accidents will happen and a kid will be as responsible, or irresponsible as he/she was brought up. I say, when a child gets a license, buy the safest car that you can afford. I don't car whether it is a Volvo 240DL, or a M-B ML 350 or somewhere in between. However, I do question buying a 16 year old a Ferrari. That is stupid on so many levels.
Not sure if that pic works above

Good stuff man. We've owned 4 X5's and just got rid of our most recent; a 2012 X5 3.5i. We'd get X3s all the time as loaners and they've made some really nice improvements on the model.
CPO is the way to go with a pre-owned BM. Do an extended test drive (couple days) and really monitor how the transmission is performing. Ever since they went to the electronic transfer case it has been... glitchy we'll call it. We had to have our previous '09 X5's software reprogrammed 4 times before it finally started shifting/driving properly... which prompted us to trade it in for a new 2012... which then had similar issues over the past few months... which prompted us to get the hell away from it.
Fun, tight, suvs. Just make sure you do your due diligence.
Deleted... No need for me to cunt up a stoke thread.
Not to slight Bushboy's car, but it's a 10+ year old M3, not a 991 GT3 RS.
I'd say most people on this forum buy in the 20-30k range, which is what that car cost.
Furthermore, 330hp is a good amount of horsepower, but it's not a Hellcat either.
Good choice Bushman/Bushboy. That's the last real M3. Car will hold its value.
I would have bought a 335i and boosted it, but to each their own.
No kidding...
Although, I could see how'd it'd be tough if you were dumb enough to go to college.
Sweet car for Bushboy.... and good luck! I bought my own cars and still destroyed every one... Luckily, I got talked out of the big one... When I landed my second big project (19 y/o) I moved out to NJ and nearly bought a used baby blue/navy blue 993 C4... That would have been bad. Ended up just killing an Acura Vigor, a Mazda Miata, and an Acura Integra. Moved back to the city after that and didn't own another car for a decade.
Going on three weeks at the new job in a very wealthy NYC neighborhood and these are what I've seen parked around:

Mclaren (unsure of model but it looked exactly like this)

Thats a McLaren MP4-12C Spider. Sick car. Probably the best value buy out there as far as exotics go.
Send the kid to high performance driver's training, road america cant be that far away.
