I bit on the +160 for her to take gs gold. It has now been bet down to +130
Shiffrin is only 5/1 to win the dh but is 15/1 to win superg. Does she race more downhills then supergs cuz that seems contrary to what one would think?
I bit on vonn dh gold at +120 but won't be bummed at all to lose if shiff takes it

She has won more DHs and has placed higher in them on average than super G.

Why? I don't know. But I would guess it's because she has killer fitness and really good pump/glide technique which makes glider-focused downhills good for her. And I believe the Olympic downhill favors gliders.

Anyone know when this wind is scheduled to die down? I wanna watch some damn ski racing!

She's got a shot at every race she starts.... A few of the ladies are skiing very well right now though.

Looks like Thursday at the earliest. Another system blowing through on Wednesday with 40-50 mph winds. This blows.

Pretty cool to have Bode broadcasting. Insightful to the nth degree. Looking forward to his commenting.
Like how he's still a team mate / coach to Mikaela... talking about warming up in the GS for her specialty the next day. So positive.
