Im lovin the stoke factor right now!!!!!!
It's right. The data correlates with the snow water equivalent. 3.7 inches of water and 47.8 inches of snow in a consistent upward trend. I have a buddy that maintains the snotel sites in the summer and they did a bang up job this year. Hell yeah, go get it.
mt. jefferson WILL be shredded tomorrow. :D
anyone else wanna go?
I've never seen that much snow in the TBR's from one storm. Sick. Somebody go and take some pics, I don't think I'll make it beyond Bridger.
Took the pup up for her first day of skiing. She likes it!
Looking forward to reports from the ridge.

Yes yes yes.
damn... that looks good right now........
Once again we are off to an early start skiing. Just a reminder to those of you new to the area. Please make sure you are beeping and have a shovel and probe and those in your group have the same. Do some practice beacon searches and stay safe.
Here is the link to our local avalanche center. This is a great resource so check it daily once they are reporting. They also have a class schedule listed on their website.

Set off a large wet slide that took out most of flippers right after this.
ah the understated mt post
good stuff, pray4snow...
calling that post "understated" is in itself an understatement.
thanks for the photos, I know where I'll be on Saturday (stupid real job :nonono2:...).
I'm going to treat this like an on-going Bridger Bowl update thread?
anyway, checked it out today with totalimmortal. dust-on-crust conditions (from the recent rain, no doubt) but that was kind of cool because even though the snow was thin you never punched through and hit rocks. very nice!
Gearing up at the trailhead (really late start)

Hmmm maybe I should drive to Boze this weekend...
First day out today...solid snowpack above 7,500 ft or so with 4 to 5 inches of new...super fun! Upper mountain has a great supportable base...it's wild to see the new lift in place.
Looks like you guys has some good turns in the fingers. Nice slash BDR. A liittle dusty on crusty, but fun skiing without tanking rocks:

So yeah, the most fun I've ever had on a 24 inch base. Some good skiing up there, although it doesn't sound pretty when you turn!
[QUOTE=MT;2110035]Good time up there today.
Good times indeed! Skiing on steep terrain at high speed on a 20-something inch base sounds pretty stupid, but it's been at lot of fun so far.
