He's going to get 20/20, hit close to .300 and has Gold Glove talent in the field. Judge is monster no doubt, but I'd take Benny long term.

What the Indians are doing right now is just insane.
53-28 road record to finish the year as they beat Seattle. That's nuts.
Cy Kluber continues his dominance for his league-leading 18th win.
He's also first in ERA.
First in opposing BA.
First in runs allowed.
Just a special year from the starters to the lineup, the defense and the pen. Everyone is firing on all cylinders. Wish I could get up to one of the last 6 games of the season at the Jake but I'll settle for some playoff baseball instead.
ROLL TRIBE!
^Good reasons to feel great, but you realize none of that means anything unless they bring home the bacon this fall? ;)
Sox have had four good comeback wins these past few games... keeping NY #2
In general the player who sticks two years earlier will be a better player but this is such a monstrous season by Judge, I don't think anyone has ever come out of a corner to do something like it so it's tough to compare. We'll have to see what they do next year to really have a better grasp. BUT, whatever Boston fanboys think is so great about Beninintendi's defense refuses to show up in the stats.

Benny has been one of the new bright spots for the Sox. Idgaf if he wins ROY or not, I am just glad he is on the team. Fuck graphs, he passes the eye test.
If offered an even up trade for Judge I wouldn't take it.
So you are saying this is the year the Tribe won't choke on a 3-1 series lead and then drop a lead in game 7 on their home field?

Its all in fun. I thought nobody knew disappointment quite like a Cubs fan but last year proved me wrong. Cubs fans used to know the sadness of futility that made them sanguinely philosophical. Oddly, it made us appreciate the sport for the sport itself. Even coming off a championship, you'll hear no bold Cubs predictions from me. I'm just happy to get to watch probably the best Cubs lineup I'll see in my lifetime. Even now, I'm wondering if its wise to poke the baseball gods with the Cubs still having two games on their magic number.
Tribe fans, by comparison, lost in the truly Cleveland fashion: they got their hearts ripped out and stomped on. Probably happen again. It's just not a true Cleveland loss unless the team is way up and the fans are starting to genuinely believe....so, yeah, a rematch would be dandy with me. Think about it. Up 3-1 and with games 6 and 7 in Cleveland...yeah, the Cubs had a great team and all....but overcoming that deficit can only be accomplished when facing a team that apparently bears an even worse curse than your own. I'm fairly certain that if the Indians are ever up a run in the 8th inning of game 7 again, a tornado or meteorite will make a direct hit on their dugout. Or a 20 minute rain shower might do the trick.
Judge is tied, 49 homers.
And 50.
301/438/863 this month, see you in October!
That's what it means to be the lovable losers. Of course, when it comes to charisma, it helps to have a cuddly mascot instead of a grotesque racial caricature for the team symbol. Might want to look into that if ending the curse is ever going to happen. Karma, and all that.
Congratulations Twins, Postseason bound!
After having your worst season ever, and key players traded away, your players rallied to send a giant fuck you to the front office. Crazy.
But, ya know, Roll Tribe.
Seems like a stretch. Major League wouldn't have been as good if it was about the Yankees beating the Indians and avoiding a move. Indians, Cubs, and Sox all had the same 'lovable loser' vibe except it was really Boston with the bad karma with their racist owners and fans.
If kluber doesn't get clobbered by Sanchez and Judge, it's yours
