I actually think he got his POC helmet from Bogner cause they were the only ones with the colorway he liked.
While we waited for him the manager openly joked with us about yelling out loud at some spoiled brat kids who were unattended by the nanny and were climbing on his $4,000 fake sheep that look like kids toys but aren't actually in fact kids toys.
It has been better but Air Canada routinely leaves shit ( skis/ guns/ fishing gear ) off the connector fight to Smithers because the plane can not carry all the gear its passengers are allowed so if you ever ski Burnie or the cat/ heli ops come early, hang out cruise main st, drink some craft brews and make sure your gear gets here before the chopper takes off
I now try to just do carryon when vacationing internationally (40L patagonia black hole duffle with removable shoulder straps)
Had our skis get left behind in Heathrow despite a 12 hour layover there - which then meant standing in line to report lost bags instead of catching our next connecting flight and all the downstream ramifications of that (lodging, car rentals etc)
And then the airline of course asks where do you want the skis delivered to - well that depends on when you are going to deliver them…
We ended up in the Oslo airport Radisson Blue for the night while LeeLau was next door in the Radisson Red.

I get it. Like I said, I have a luxury not everyone has. Even though it was Air Canada, Montreal -> Frankfurt was pretty cool. We often use Boston. And the coach bus from Hanover, NH to Logan is a whole new ballgame. I flew to FRA from JFK once after driving down, return trip sucked balls. Flying to Asia from here sucks.Quote:

By far the best airports are those that have easy and frequent train or bus service. If you need a car to access the airport, they failed.
The amount of people in this country that find it completely acceptable to not just go out into public in what they wore to bed for the last week (or more) straight, much less major transport terminals with all kinds of gross human funk floating around, is ridiculously high.Quote:

You're not wrong. Butt, the train or bus has to also have parking or be easy walking distance with a diitcase from your starting point and or. destination. Or have easy drop off and pick up. You live in Burlington. That's a bit of a cluster fuck in my opinion. Not as bad as many, but not ideal. It'd be cool if I could hop on a bus in St Albans or Georgia and get to the airport.
