Tonight I competed "Participated" In My first RENO INDOOR PISTOL LEAGUE (RIPL).
I had a really good time. It's nice when your No Threat and the more experienced competitors are so helpful.
I plan to Attend again Next Thursday Evening. Great people great fun. As of now I have no idea what my score was, how I placed. But who cares. The pressure is intense, and a well placed shot or a clean mag change on the move is rewarding beyond description. Wish I had some video.

Anybody shot, carried, or have an opinion on 327 mag as a carry gun?
I've been looking to buy an LCR, have been looking for one in 38 and or 357 (because I already own guns in that caliber and love simplifying ammo buying for cross-platform useage) but theres a guy nearby selling an un fired 327 mag LCR with crimson trace grips and 550 rounds of ammo (eliminates my problem with buying a new caliber) for $500. need advice
I have a SW .357 and do carry it on occasion but it is not a daily carry piece. I totally agree with owning guns that are chambered in the same caliber,
The LCR looks interesting. Here is a review.

May not be what you're looking for, Diamond Joe, but have a look at the new Colt Cobra. Sweet-looking revolver and built up to shoot lots of .38 spl +P rounds. Great size for a carry gun, too.

Good luck with that. HaveaHeart trap and Stevens Little Scout was 100% effective. But that is such a sexy gun I can see how it would give you a woodie.
Nice shotgun.
That will be a family heirloom that you can use.
LOL, Don’t mind wooley. he’s got a big wood over shotguns but can’t shoot skeet. Blue balled.

Very nice O/U birdhunter! That should swing nicely!
Thats a nice looking gun, but what makes it really any different from a J- frame or similar? Plus its steel framed, and DAO which I'm fine with, but I'm looking for hammerless (or shrouded). Also (I havent tested the Colt to compare) the LCR trigger pull is like butter. Best trigger out of the box of all the snubbies I've tried.
Good review of the LCR bu the one Im considering is a 327. Not a caliber I know much about. I did some research on it, and, aside from harder to find (and slightly more expensive) ammo, it seems like a perfect caliber for a tiny alloy-framed wheelie. Plus the value of the ammo alone that the guy is selling, makes it a good deal. (327 is going for around 50 cents/round on TSUSA so its about $250 worth of ammo, plus a $280 crimson trace set up, for less than the MSRP of the gun alone)

LCR .38 spl+p owner here. No complaints, but stings a little on firing. Light and compact enough for concealed carry, and reliable af.
Thanks fellas. I'm stoked for Sept. to get here. I'm going to cringe the first time I put a scratch on it but I bought it to use not sit in a glass case.
Funky, yea it does swing nice. I thought about getting it with a 28" barrel but I've been shooting an Onyx 686 with a 26" for the last 15 years or so, so I decided to stick with what I'm use to.
Couldn't agree more. The world is full of ding-free, unscratched, mint-condition, expensive, high performance vehicles sitting quietly and sedately protected from danger and excitement. What a fucking tragic shame they'll die as virgin eunuchs in in their dark, dust-free garages.
I feel the same way about guns. Good things were built to last while being used.
In process.

Well, shit, Negro! I just bought a Remington 700 SPS Tac from a local pawn. Never fired. Also found a Kahles Helia 1.5 X 6 scope at the same shop and made a deal for both. Already ordered a Timney 510, and will replace the Hogue stock with the one that came with my Remmy 5 R (made by B&C, I believe). Good Times!

I’m so stoked to have stumbled into these. 1990 and 1995 g19.
The 1995 still has factory grease. How cool is that? 25 yrs old. The 1990 is a collectors piece. Still has Original Black internals that were replaced in most glocks in a 1992 recall.
