Working on that B&W landscape stuff. Snapped this in AZ. Any pointers are definitely welcome. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ee3fe9691c.jpg

The sky looks amazing in that one. My only suggestion would be to try and pull some more contrast/detail out of the hill.
If you know you’re shooting for B&W you get orange filters that really help bring out the sky and red rock once you get it into photoshop or Lightroom.
A few randos from this week. Getting better at always keeping the camera in the truck, in this case, the Leica.
Any feedback is appreciated.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...415ea2e483.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...fc155d15e2.jpg

And whoever has the stupidly bright lit cross out in Lake Memphremagog, I realize your trying to promote God but it REALLY detracts from the natural view.
Those are amazing!
Those are incredible.

Went to Taliesen West on Saturday with a photo group I am a part of. Pretty amazing to see the thought and care FLW takes with his design.
All the people in the group are film dorks so I put a soft/warm/film-ish edit on these.

Another door. This is the north door at St. Edward's Church in Stow-on-the-Wold, England. There's speculation that this doorway inspired Tolkien's "Doors of Durin" in the Lord of the Rings since Tolkien was a frequent visitor to Stow while he was a professor at Oxford.

If you look at Tolkien's illustration it certainly isn't a stretch.
