I just looked and the red starts before the spot where I70, 6 and 40 meet.
Hit 470 and 70 at 4:55. Rolled into Utah Junction at 7. 15 minutes at McDonald’s and 10 minute delay for mitigation on 40.

We reached a section with a guardrail and steep drop and another semi stuck sideways completely blocking the road. Driver was sitting in a minivan just chilling like this was totally normal. WTF were these truckers thinking?!?!
Turned around and flagged everyone coming by to turn around. Came to the semi we passed in the plowed section and told him he was fucked. There was no way he could turn around and he wasn’t going through. He had chains and thought he was invincible. He thought he could help get the other truck unstuck by loaning his chains. Told him that wasn’t going to happen as the truck was sideways. Oh well.......
Turned out for the best as as I scored a cancelled room in Steamboat and got $100 knocked off the rate.

She was an amazing very young woman. The driver was ejected and she was scrambled eggs until she hit the bottom. I miss Crysta a lot.

Lost another good bud this week. I tried to give him some advil last week because he had kicked the painkillers from his recovery, but he refused, and couldn't deal with his pain so he shot himself. Come to the memorial tomorrow. I will miss Eric a lot. It gets old. I have a wall of shame on my wall of dead friends. I want it to end. I made up some stickers tonight, just out of pure frustration from the massive suicide problem. Don't kill yourself, OK? Wait for tomorrow.
