The AT-47 uses a Serbian parts kit on an in-house milled receiver and barrel. It looks pretty sweet with the distressed wood furniture. But then again, I don't want a dog. They do have a couple other AKs and I'll check those out tomorrow.

If its a milled Yugo then there are fewer parts to be concerned about. Those weapons were parted out after being heavily used in the Balkan wars. Check the bolt and bolt carrier for wear.
Find out who made the the receiver and barrel, both should be US made. If the receiver is made by anyone other than Tortort walk away. Same goes for anything that is made by Century, imported by Century can be ok depending.
If they have a Vepr or Arsenal rifles look at those seriously. Supplies of AKs are getting smaller but there are still deals to be had if you do your home work but also a lot of junk.

Reminds me of this. The anti-gun fags got all in a wad over this for a while.

Commie!
How are you liking the dust cover rails for your scope and red dot? Was thinking of doing it but not entirely confident with the slightest slop with mine.
Those are RS Regulate side mounts. They are rock solid and return to zero.
SB you don't believe in a solid gun safe or at least trigger locks for those when not in use? Around this area, the likelihood of neighborhood gang bangers breaking in, tazing our pit bull, and grabbing those while nobody was home would be pretty high if anyone at all knew about them outside of the household. I have no doubt that friends of our kids would talk to their friends about them and eventually the info would cascade to a friend of a friend who'd act on that intel.
Anyone at SHOT?
So not a whole lot of new stuff at SHOT, but I came back with two things to buy that are going to put a pretty big hole in my wallet -
First is the Kel-tec CP33. It's a 22LR pistol with a 33-round quad-stack magazine. They're beautiful. At $475, everyone needs one.
Second is a Desert Tech SRS-A2. Something about a precision bolt gun in a bullpup layout speaks to me. You can swap 308, 300WM, 6.5CM, and 338 Lapua barrels into the same chassis. If the rifle isn't bad enough, glass will be.
Someone needs to buy that guy a Big Mac, he'd probably jizz himself.
Goddammit I luv me sum shotgunz.

I'll just include this in this thread I never have frequented but knew existed. Which one of you guys accidentally shot yourself in the groin while driving down LCC in the red snake tonight?

I worked at my friend's Renaissance Fair booth in Minnesota a couple times. Super fun. Insane amount of partying going on behind the booths, employee parking lots, overnight Friday and Saturday after it closed to the public. Fun times!
