mmmmmm, lasts a long time.
This series of videos has been amusing lately, especially when on long-winded conference calls.

The guy on the Front Range trying to sell a 2006 Trek hardtail for 3 grand. :D
Forgot our anniversary yesterday.
So did my wife. Whew.
I blame the Covid
Hahaha! Classy!
37th for us. The thing about being retired and then the Covid is we're lucky if we know what day of the week it is, let alone the date.
Our thing is we each try to guess if the other is going to get a gift--kind of like rock paper scissors--and usually one does and one doesn't and then the one that doesn't has to make it up. Just agreeing on what to do sounds too easy and sensible.
that’s not funny
Annoyed but can’t help but be amused as well. My pod got tagged last night and apparently then perpetrator wanted me to learn Esperanto. What the fuck could this mean - some political Seattle bullshit that is over my head?

But it has shocks! TWO shocks! And I bet a bunch of gears too.
the other day a girl I know posted a mirror for sale on the FB marketplace - she didn't realize that her naked lady bits were in the mirror - no actual beaver, but everything from her belly button to her toes - it was a great picture, she's got it goin on - it was up a couple hours before anyone got ahold of her - awesomeness
...and you act like you didn't screenshot it.
naw not my style
Blonde ?
nope
I'm new to the pizza game. Overloaded a pizza yesterday. My wife and I like different toppings so I made a half and half pizza--which got stock on the peel, severely compressed and all the toppings mixed up. Tasted good though.
this kinda goes with my post in "things that annoy you" re: my neighbor who moved to a home surrounded by farms then complained to me about the noise my harvester made the other day. Frankly she's lucky it was corn - one harvest and I might add was done on a weekday with the sun already up. If I grew alfalfa it would be 3-4 harvests in a season with baling done at night/wee hours of the morning to take advantage of the dew.

I like reading threads starting from the end wondering how it got to that point and working back.
I like clicking on the end of a long thread, the title of which didn't interest me to read it when it started or which I lost interest in a long time ago, and seeing in what direction it veered off. (Out of respect for those more diligent than I am, I don't post in those threads.)
Ya, that too. Or a thread with a title that looks like it should only have one simple reply and it's gone several pages...

Took the bike out for a lap around the neighborhood. A few blocks from an intersection things start shaking as a car passes booming deep base and gansta rap. It's so loud, people who are into that shit must think wow this guy is a total bad ass. That is, until bluetooth navigation interrupts at full volume: "In one quarter mile, turn left". Beats resume. In the distance, close to the intersection, you hear "in 400 feet, turn left". Back to beats. Then, "turn left now" as he makes the turn like a pro. Now out of sight around the corner, "Turn right, you have reached your destination." Does he lose street credit for needing navigation to get to 7-11?
Sad thing is some people really do need navigation to just go down the block.
