Long time Lurker living on the west slope!
Me, 12 years ago when I didn't give a damn about transition. I'm a different guy now. Dad and shit.

Hola maggots, yet another lurker turning poster. And looking for ski buddies for spring turns in the Alps, any takers?
Too bad this is about me...

Wannabe from the mountain-less Belgium reporting in.
I ejaculate upon hearing the word 'Alp'
and I once broke my pinky during a pathetic attempt at removing my boot liner.

I like to play.
Scando JONG.
More accurately Norwegian JONG.
Old enough to know better, but just don't care.
Picked up skiing again after a 20 year break. Been snowboarding though. But mostly I'm to be considered a retired downhill mountainbiker. Been banged more than enough during the summers. So now it's on to getting banged up during the winter.
Currently on alpine skiis during the winter.
But strongly considering a tele setup this winter. If my bum knees can handle it.
Also a bike mechanic, ski tech and personal trainer by trade..
According to folklore, born with skis on my feet.
Time to stop lurking - German, sadly living in the UK for another year or so, do spend about 2 months or so in Cham & sorroundings each season though.
IMHO, don't bother with the tele. Nothing against em, I do a bit myself when i feel cocky or need a workout. However if you're just getting into backcountry (AT not tele), skiing tougher off-piste, skiing zee powder - you should forget the teles and just get serious miles on AT skis. Get some good ones, get a season's pass somewhere and shred every fucking day you can.
Then hook up with some folks who know the BC, take avi courses, attempt not to kill yourself. ULLR would be proud, norwegian boy. Do you perhance have any sauna photos of some close norwegian female relatives?
PS
Nee.
PPS
Not like aunts or grandmothers either.
Another lurker who finally got around to posting. I grew up in the PNW and moved out to the Midwest after college. I will be in Washington this winter and looking for people to ski with.
New member, always ski at moonlight basin.
Let the JONGing begin!
Yep, the mountains are gay.
Yo yo.
Long time skier (32 of my 35 years), engineer and product designer. Been luring here a bit this summer. Hoping to further my stoke for this season and bounce some product ideas I've got off folks on the board here.
Hey, hello there, after lurking a little here I am.
My english may be rusty or bad, because I'm from France, Hautes-Alpes (La Grave, Montgenevre...). I'm 22, and I like to ski off the slopes, not only powder but in any kinds of snow, and charge as much as I can.
I went on TGR forums to found some informations and products that we don't even know in France (little brands, etc...), and to see the Quiver Thread because it makes me feel less alone (even if I have a couple friends who have the same "collecting" problem) to have "a few" pairs of skis...
i have diarrhea.
Lurker, now typing, shoot better get off of here and go skiing before it becomes common place.
I'm a former Missoula Maggot (the rugby team), so well, that double maggots me i guess.
I'm a tree Skier at Montana Snowbowl, and often to poor to go anywhere else, i might move closer to a bigger hill sometime soon (i have a far fetched plan to end up working in Big Sky, but it probably won't work), but Snowbowl is kind of a starving expert's kind of hill anyway, so it suits me to live only a few minutes away.
Lurked last season. Just moved from Tahoe to AK...looking for people to ski/skin with. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I thought I saw an AK stoke thread once...
I have been lurking for about a year (mostly reading gear reviews). I grew up in AK, then moved to Oregon to attend OSU. After I graduated, moved back to Anchorage for a year, then last month decided to drive back down to Portland for better job opportunities.
I grew up snowboarding, but after a few cat ski trips on Mt. Bailey got tired of unstrapping and walking in the flats and decided to learn to ski. I have been skiing about two years now, looking to get into AT as well. I plan on being a weekend warrior on Mt Hood/Bachelor, always down to ski with more people (especially people better than me).
Hello peoples,
Lurked for awhile, contributing a bit now. Grew up skiing in Oregon since I could walk, now live in Jackson, moved here a little over a year ago now. Spend most of my time skiing JHMR since I work in the village, days off on the pass or up in the park depending on conditions. Stoked for another winter in the Tetons!
Howdy,
Been lurking for 2 seasons after a 6 year break from the sport. I spent most of my twenties in Montana and grew up skiing in the Pac Northwest BC interior area. Currently I am spending most of my ski days in Flagstaff, AZ with trips to southern CO and UT sprinkled in. Skiing is much more expensive now that I am buying equipment for my wife and two daughters but its really fun watching them progress the sport.
RA,
I enjoy your videos and stoke threads.
Long time lurker. First years skiing was in Chamonix then grew up skiing NH, been back in the holy grail for about 13yrs now. Terrified of leaving, last time I cheated on the Mont Blanc range for another mistress was Alaska 2007. We’ve talked it out, it’s complicated, but I think we are headed to more of an open relationship – could be a trap.
Evening,
Recent lurker, but as i tend to jump into things I saw no point in hanging about so regd and here I am.
Been skiing over 30 years, and spent a few years in the industry as a ski tech and boot while I was a student.
Got a few trips on this season, Switzerland, France and then Whistler.
I'm off to wax my stick.
Later.
Have visited the site for a few years. Registered a while back but never actively posted in the forum. Grew up in the Midwest, moved to Slc 10 years ago.
