Looks like the storm is a little tardy. Boston news saying Magic/Stratton/Bromley should get an additional 8-12" today...there's only 2" on the ground at BoM. Stratton reporting 5" and that may be legit as they steal snow from Magic. Wind hold shit show predicted at Stratton but MMP and I are going to go anyway.
Magic had only Green Chair and one way down yesterday. It was decent but got old after about 5 rides on the world's slowest chair lift. Skied with Rusty and Orange Gondi. Good to see friends and go skiin'
Ended up at K. Stratton I think tomorrow.

Agreed. Left house with 8-10" on car. Drove thru storm and into dry slot. Maybe 4-5 at Berkshire East when arrived. Started snowing again at 930am and now full nuke town! Bring it! This keeps up the rest of day and tomorrow will be good!

Definitely had low expectations for this storm but the Bush got a foot of light snow out of it and I got an easy 9 inches at my place.
Had an amazing day at Mt. Ellen; crowds weren’t bad and the refills kept coming.

Top to bottoms until the legs gave out. Met up and skied with the OG Harold G and his new bride. Good snow (finally some snow), a few ducked ropes and core shots but a great first day of my season! Apre at the Crazy Horse with the Allmand Brothers next gen and dancing! Great vibes at the Berk! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b4d12d0072.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...36992c7909.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b89d683d64.jpg

9” at the house down the peninsula, at least that’s what she said. Hard saying how much at Camden snowbowl as they had the guns cranked. lots of good turns with top lift not spinning.

Great to see you Bucket, LemmeCaution. First run for Scottski and I on the double side was nirvana.

Great time at OH yesterday. easily 10-13cms of light pow on ice and dirt and rocks. Classic NE pow day.
The zucchini-coconut milk soup was freaking killer.
Sorry I missed you yesterday Harvey and Happy birthday. Great to see scottski, Gepedo and Buckethead. Can’t complain for first day.
Plattekill: Nice to be in real snow again. "Moist" settled instantly that didn't quite bond, still yielding edgable styrofoam underneath. Snow got better throughout the day as the temp edged lower and snowing renewed at 2pm through the closing bell.
Harvey's bar tab had to be light? Ghost town at 5pmhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9d580ade78.jpg
Nice afternoon in SoVT

CSB ski the view, only US ski area you see the Atlantic. They were cranking guns straight through from yesterday.

^^ Yep, we skied from 9:00 to 11:45. Totally by chance, we linked up with CharlesJ for a run before he went off in search of skinipenem
Yesterday at Stratton was a total shitshow. Peeps mostly couldn't handle the new snow. Stood in line for 40 minutes to ride a lift. That was the straw that broke my back.

Stratton was good (a combination of snows and that classic eastern hard surface…) Skipenem was skiing up a storm. MiCol’s FRS was the clue that MNIAW and I had crossed paths before. Some of the newly opened runs were extremely thin with one of the highest rock:snow ratios evah
