Cars aren’t made to hit each other anymore… sucks.
Edit to add: that pricing is likely returning the car to “as new” condition. Maybe just scope down the repairs - replace the main panels that need replacing - leave things primered. It sounds like she has the propensity to hit things anyway..:

This. Mrs. Plug and my buddy’s wife are what he likes to call “not car aware”. I’ve pushed panels back out, used zip ties to hold things where those factory clips go, etc. just to get it looking half decent. You can order any part directly, so pick and choose.Quote:

Toyota also replace a bunch of Tacoma frames, Tacoma leaf springs and 3.0 V6 head gasskettes from back in the day that were all well after the warranty period had ended, my4-runer got a new head gasskette/ timing belt/ free 1500$ major tuneup 7 years after it rolled off the lot well out of warranty period, so its not that something got recalled its how Toyota handled it
In any case car wizard guy is saying any Toyota truck is the trucks to buy used
edit: the new Tundra avec 10spd/ turbo/ TRD is awesume, has awesume power, i duno if i would give it to an employee to thrash on ? I can always trade mine at end of warrnaty
I woke up to an alert from LifeLock warning me that someone was trying to to use my information to get a car loan. "Honey, quick what's the login to the LifeLock account? I need to check this shit out!" She can't tell me over text because "Someone might hack our text messages".... And do what? Use the information to commit identity theft? Like they're doing RIGHT F**KING NOW??
...it was real btw. Had to freeze all my credit with all three agencies and file a police report.
She also won't give Google permission to upload photos to the cloud because "I don't want my pictures to be on the internet"...so instead she keeps them on her phone, with apple's backup feature on...

Yep, I asked my wife a while back when she was complaining about always being the one to get recycling into the bin (which could not be further from the truth), how many times she would estimate she's broken down a box before said trip to the recycle bin so we could fit more than a few amazon boxes in it...? Case in point. We have 4 animals, 2 dogs and 2 cats. The cats are my step cats and one of the dogs is my daughter’s. Somehow I am responsible for all their urine and fecal matter, feeding and walking.
Just happened. One day I’m cleaning the litter box so I can walk the dogs before it gets too dark and the light bulb goes off “I need to load and run the dishwasher”. So I quickly broke down all the Amazon boxes stacked in the hallway, fed the pets and dropped my daughter off at gymnastics practice.
What was my wife doing the whole time? Coloring paper flowers with markers in her office watching her iPad.
