You should educate yourself on the various federal agencies and their respective areas of expertise.

As “the only moderate here,” one would think you’d have some respect for the historical need for governmental agencies to apply regulations on behalf of the legislators. House/Senate lawmakers don’t know shit about these specialties. Nor do they have the bandwidth to take on the minutiae of these agencies.

No easier way to grind the state to a halt than to force congress to take on all the rule making that these institutions do. Just stupid

Sure, but not rewrite a law. They can't rewrite laws. That is absolutely specifically the power of the legislature. There is some argument about their leewayto interpret them, but they have ZERO legal authority actually change the wording of the law itself.

I also wouldn't call this minutiae. Thatis a huge stretch.

But ok, whatever the ATF does is great as long as its antipathic to legal gun ownership, and they could never do anything bad ever. Impossible.

Regardless of where you stand on guns, in a free country, laws should be simple, easy to follow, and not purposely vague, hard to understand. TheATF 'engaged in thebussiness rule' completely fundamentally redefines gun sales, without legislative input, and worst ofall, its not an easy rule to understand or follow. Its not legalese, its just, vague and could be applied to literally anyone who sells a gun ever.

The pistol brace thing was also entrapment. They told us for 10 years that even according to the ATF, these are legal. Then basically overnight they want to turn it into a felony. Without the legislative bodies.


There is a way to go about things, and a way not to. From everything I can see, they aren't trying to make anyone safer, they just want to be able to send more people to jail. Not thepeople running hard drugs and in gangs that are the vast majority of the violence problem. But just average gun owners.


Its all getting shot down in the courts though, and while you guys might deal withyour cognitive dissonance by just doubling down on your irrational beleifs, every liberal I know in my personal life, that say things like "It should be harder to get a gun" can see this stuff is a huge problem. Shocked gasps when I tell them about this stuff.

So all this is a great advertisement against gun control.

Ummm, anyone including citizens, PACs, ATF, whoever, can write and rewrite the language to laws. Legislators’ jobs are to vote to pass that wording and make it law. Then the executive branch signs. Judicial branch interprets what was passed. Leroy-you’ve clearly never watched Schoolhouse Rock.

I mean yea, Cisco's wife is a whore. I say this because when he asked me not to talk about his wife, he didn't ask and instead narscissctically demanded and called me boy, which shows not only a huge amount of entitlement, but a complete inability to understand that other people are individuals that exist separate than him and won't be motivated to do his bidding if he deliberatly disrespects them while demanding it.

So yea pretty normal stuff, especially for online message boards.

I’ve never made a threat to you in this thread or on this forum.
