I posted a similar vantage in the seemingly defunct MPC a few challenges ago. That one is hudge above my fireplace. This one was nixed by the wife as the pinks and purples don't jive with the tones in the room.

Sunday was a slog, 18 miles and most of that in hail and rain. Worth it though. Elkhart and then Island x2.

I got lost at 3am in the dark and tacked an extra 4 or 5 miles onto an already long dayhike. When I got to the final pitch where you leave the ridge to scramble up the east face I just didn't have the gas in the tank to get it done. So I waited while my partner knocked out the last 500' vert. Looking forward to heading back there next summer cuz I'll have a better idea of where I'm going. ;)
