Long time Lurker and proud of it! You learn a lot from this wonderful place called the interwebz and finally decided to jump in. I'm another one representin' PNW and have been my whole entire immature 20 years of living. Been skiing since age two on plastic skis and the rest is history. X racer, but that is way to serious for me. I ski for the love of it and always will!
single planker since 97ish (seven springs PA baby), fly slinger since 2000ish came back to SLC after a miserable hiatus in the nation's capital. Looking forward to gettin weird in the wasatch front and beyond going forward.
I like PNW on clear days, summer snowfields, pounding coffee and goating around the mountains and nice jugs.
Hi all, been a lurker for awhile, finally joined up so I could buy some gear from the gear swap area.
I’m an aussie, been skiing my whole life. I have lived in Canada ski bumming and hitting all the awesome resorts of the Rockies. Also skied in the US, Europe, Japan and Chile.
Now I work at our largest resort (though not for the lift company) Perisher. Snow in oz is obviously nothing like overseas but we get the odd good day and there is some interesting terrain. Down here the bc is where its at, lots of easy access terrain, usually stable conditions and no one else around.
Like many other narcissistic gen y'ers I run a blog, mainly focused on bc skiing and surfing in oz with the odd party thrown in www.olasmontanas.com

I will be spending next season in Denver, skiing summit county mostly Abasin, Breck, and Keystone. I've been lurking a long time and figured its about damn time I made my presence felt.
Really though, I might be about as JONG-y as they come. I just moved out from Illinois and ride on a 90mm waist... So you can expect me on gear swap.
Mold me into a proper maggot.
Found this forum while researching gear. Have seen a few TGR films over the years as well.-Living in Bozeman, MT. We seem to bounce back from CO to MT every few years due to my wife's job. Have a Big Sky pass for this season-Moonlight pass last year.
Have seen a few TGR stickers around town...way cool. Hope to add some stoke of my own someday soon!

Lurking for a couple years wasting time at work. Been in UT for a year now, skiing mostly powmow and snowbasin.
Just rediscovered this forum after many years away. I used to post in the old Powder Mag forum back in what must have been the late 90s or early 2000s... can't even remember what my old handle was.
Anyways, I spend a lot more time in the backcountry than I did back then and have been impressed with the huge base of knowledge here.
I ski mainly at Lake Louise or Kicking Horse for resort days or in Kananaskis Country for touring.
Been enjoying the stoke around here for years, thought I'd finally join in. Bit of an aspiring weather junkie with leanings towards tech geekery.
Squaw, Alpine, and it seems Sierra is on this season too.

CA transplant in Seattle, long-time snowboarder recently converted to skiing, 3 seasons now under my belt. Starting to get in to backcountry but really limited by the number of folks I know willing to hike for turns rather than ride a lift. Currently in southern california working on working my way back to the mountains after a 6 year hiatus spent in Hawaii.
New to the forum, was on Epicski for a month.... didn't do much for me there.
From the Vancouver area, mostly ski at Baker, Steven's, Hemlock with the odd trip to Whistler. Typically road trip for a couple weeks every year to the Interior of BC and this year 10 days in SLC. Never been.
Work is boring. Guess I'll start writing here.
From Atlanta, but still get about 30 days a year. Which means I have as many skymiles as your sister has pimples...bring on the champagne

Long time reader, first time poster. Skibummed in Whistler, used to ride at Kirkwood and now in SoCal trying to figure out how to escape LA and get as much time in at Mammoth as possible.
Been lurking around for awhile... Good entertainment when I am at work. From the Midwest and have to ski the manmade stuff. Try to get out west every year for 10+ days.

40 year old Colorado retread after 20 years in the south. Work to much, but I am trying to curtail that for some WP skiing (and other locations as opportunities arise). Newbie backcountry skier with all the right gear and very little experience. Always looking for partners in crime to escape the rat race.

Occasional lurker, haven't been doing much since living in NC for the last 4 years. Had an epiphany recently due to near-death experience, and now decidedly working towards getting back to somewhere I want to be and not just somewhere that I am. Time to start focusing on what is important and not just on the green.

Touring is my thing. I have been reading for a while now, thought it would be good to join.
Midwest (North MN) lurker, finally registering. Get way too many days in at the local hill, but trying to make up for starting skiing at 27.
Fifty year old kid that never quite qrew up. (My wife will vouch!) I learned to tele on leather boots and straight skinny skis. I've been on a board the past 7-8 years and decided to get back on skis so I can play in the backcountry again.
