I put 40c ramblers on my bike in my quest for a better all arounder. Kinda feels like I could almost go anywhere now. Pavement roll is really nice, but actually have some tread compared to the Gravelking slicks.
Do you know which group? I've checked a couple and no luck yetQuote:
There's a nice Warbird 56 on one of the Facebook gravel groups for $2k. If it would have been around before I picked up the Diverge I definitely would have gone that route.
No. I can't find it now either. I saw it twice over the course of several days but I didn't save it and the key word searching isn't finding it either. I'll keep looking and let you know.

Anyone looking for a Salsa Cutthroat in 56 or 58, PM me. Apparently they’re hard to find this season, but a buddy’s shop has two.
Got out in a different direction the other day. Up lolo's "not ski hill"

Then to the bass creek overlook

Some people had camp setup at the overlook/picnic area which I feel like is not a campground and this slackline across the canyon. There was a guy out there.

Great S24O this weekend. I packed the bike and left from home and cycled into the GMNF 40 miles away.

It was a mixed surface ride and this stretch of road was beautiful.

After breakfast I rode up and over to Middlebury to meet friends.
Attachment 335080
We did a loop back to Midd for a 50 mile ride. Lake Dunmore looked inviting but we settled for maple creemees.

Next time - remember a drying line and leave a bottle cage empty for a to-go beer at the brewery.
^^^Sickter.
Yeah man, setup looks tight and right. Well done!
GF & I finally got out for an overnight. She loved it, so this will likely become a regular thing. What's especially interesting to me is that she seemed more confident on the (lightly) loaded 1120 than she does on her regular MTB.Attachment 335088Attachment 335089Attachment 335090Attachment 335091
You guys are KILLING IT. Moar please. I'm getting the itch for an overnight.
Thanks to the continued dumbing down of the MTB network here I can ride my Gravel Bike from Sugarbush to Flatbread and back 98% offroad on dirt sidewalk. Not much climbing to, a far bit going back the same way, nice breeze was helpful..

Thanks. We have this thing going on called the move mt challenge and I'm in the biggest distance and climbing categories. Decided I'd make an effort at keeping place with the guy trying to ride a million vertical feet this year (plus another million on skis). I'm a little behind but am pretty happy with how I'm feeling for the amount i've ridden the last two weeks.
1. Your ride was rad. Really hoping I can get over to that side of the state sometime this summer.
2. Are you talking about the guy from Bozeman that's going for 2 million vert this year? Dude's my favorite Strava follow. The numbers he's putting up are equally obscene and inspiring.
Did 47 miles of gravel in 100 degree heat.

The MTBs fared better on the deep gravel sections than the gravel bikes, and smoked us on the descents.

Ran out of water 25 miles in. Not ideal, but a nice little loop.

Cooler full of water and beer back at the car was a life saver.
I guess quotes and attachments are broken now but yeah, thanks. And that is the guy. Me and a local photographer are at about the same number and chasing him, but are like 20k feet behind. or more. He hasn't added anything in a few days. It's been fun, but hard and I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to keep this up. been averaging 5400ft of climbing every day since the 4th and haven't taken a day off. Some days I just try to pedal easier than normal and don't climb as much, and then eat and sleep a lot. Did 4 laps up my local trail for 7400ft today, felt pretty good the whole time. Been out past dark with lights every other day this week.
Couple recent pictures although I'm not sure if imgur embeds work?
