If you're sick of cute fall activities,it's time to get spooked. There are tons of haunted houses and Halloween events happening this season, but there's one that might be the most scary of all. An hour away from Vancouver, there's a terrifying haunted corn maze waiting on a 12-acre farm that's just waiting for you.
...
Maan Farms Country Experience & Estate Winery is bringing back their haunted maze for fall, but this time it's even scarier than last year. They've up the ante and added features and scares of all kinds. The 5-acre haunted corn maze is filled with terrifying experiences and you'll definitely run into a chainsaw-wielding monster or two.
The entire maze is pitch black, your senses will be heightened and you'll be terrified to see what's waiting for you out in the corners of their haunted maze.
So I had an atempted scam which I hadn't heard of that could affect all Canucks who file income tax
I Got an e-mail from CRA telling me I had 458$ coming to me on an INTERAC E transfer, tells me to click on a button and then it asks for personel info my SIN, which was suspect cuz normaly you just get money on direct deposit NOT INTERACT and you don't asked for personel info so I stopped right there and i don't know what else they were going to ask
I logged on to my CRA account and it shows I wasn't owed any money, so i talked to REV canada and buddy said it was a scam
BUT it was a very good looking scam SO ... be aware

Montrealer finds forgotten lottery ticket worth $1.75M in an old jacket
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/montrealer...124400117.html
Quote:
A Montreal man was cleaning out his wardrobe and readying some clothes for donation when he found a forgotten lottery ticket hidden in an old jacket — a ticket worth $1.75 million.
Gregorio De Santis hadn't planned on cleaning out the wardrobe, but said his sister encouraged him to get the job done.
Thinking he might have won a few bucks, De Santis decided to see if the Lotto 6/49 ticket, dated Dec. 6, 2017, was worth anything.
When the lottery ticket was validated, he at first thought he had won $1,750 — a pretty exciting prize for anybody.
But, as it turns out, the prize was worth 1,000 times that.
De Santis said his heart almost stopped when he realized he was suddenly a millionaire. He credits the unexpected win to his sister. He was still in shock during his visit to Loto-Québec on Friday to collect his cheque.
...
According to Loto-Québec's website, the claim period is one year from the draw date printed on the ticket or, for scratch tickets, one year from the product launch date.
In this case, the winning ticket was just two months shy of expiring.
