Yep, I have a VR pass, and starting in a couple weeks I have 5-6 days/week I can ski until May. :)

why can't people in boulder drive in the snow? i almost shot somebody with a crossbow this morning
this driving discussion deserves its own thread. for the record I grew up driving in upstate ny, where lake effect owns all
Grew up in Pittsburgh where the sun never shines and the roads stay snow packed and icy most of the winter....people in and around Denver can't drive worth shit!
I'm pretty sure there already is one.
Back on topic, it's been snowing on and off all day and is supposed to keep up through the night. Weather.gov shows more coming Sunday and early next week. How's that one look Rontele? Hopefully it's decent and I can start skiing everyday after work next week.
I'll ask my stupid question of the day.
Is there enough snow in Boulder to practice skinning or will I destroy skins.
If so where. The snow has just got me so fucking antsy.
There are a couple places off the peak to peak highway you might find something to play in. I don't know for sure as I don't make it down there much anymore. Probably nothing in Boulder proper though.
practice skinning? apply skins....free heel....walk...repeat
I mean i'm half serious. I don't want to ski anything, I just want to practice getting the feel for skinning, in my head that doesn't sound as obsurd as it probably seems to you guys.
^^^^its not the noobness, it is the complete and utter lack of common sense.
let's return this thread to its previous incarnation of witchcraft and prognostication.
System for Sunday & Monday looks fairly similar to yesterday's front. Should be another shot of decent snow. After that it appears to be fairly dry for the week with a few light showers along the divide.
Next weekend, things start looking interesante.
