also +Positive+ VIbes out to Liz Sherry. I was up top, so i didn't see what happened, but sounds like she fell and tumbled through some bushes and had to be taken out in a sled. The top of her run was looking really good, she took that top middle air faster than any other girl and stomped it.

i'm a photographer, i've skied about 80 days so far this season. I support the people who were on the start list for day 2. im sorry i need to be a competitor to be cool in your eyes... no high horse, eh?

Correct, it looked like he broke his binding in the crash in that picture, and finished on one ski.

sounds like they couldnt get the last two skiers off today due to vis.
no results untill tomarrow. hopefully they will have a superfinal now that they are going to have to set up everyting for those two runs anyways.

aww yeah, today was SIIICK!

so yes, the last two guys (Aurelien Ducroz and Jean Michel Goudain) will be going first thing in the morning. then they will be running a super final for the top 3 girls, Jess McMillan, Jane Saw(HOLLER!!!), and Tanya Christenesen, and the top 20 guys from today and assuming Aurelien and Jean Michel don't eat it, they will go too (so top 22 guys)

some highlights of the day.....Josh Daiek fastet run through the top 2/3rds of the venue (like if he was going slow he might be accused of traversing, but he was going so fast that his turns were actually that big, and then HUGE backie at the bottom of the venue (came into it fast and just threw down).....Drew Tabke also went for the big ol backie up top to SUPER STOMPED it, then another HUGE air at the bottom to SUPER STOMP.......Nick Greener went for a large tumble over the bottom middle section, leaving both skis in a sketch place for "big mountain ski retrieval", he tumbled over a bush section, and then over larger rock, landed ON some rocks (looked like he landed on his back) and tumbled MORE past/over some more rocks.....LUCKILY, after laying there for a while, catching breath, whatever he needed to do, he was able to ski down on one borrowed ski through the finish (can you say thank god for body armor? hope he had some, that was gnar gnar).......there was another dude who went for the double at the bottom and biffed his first landing a bit sending him into an accidental front flip over the second rock band, gnarly, but he skied out ok.....Tyler Knowles had a super nice fluid run to another huge air at the bottom, stomped it.......the frenchies DID NOT dissapoint with fast, fluid skiing, big airs.....

that's all i can remember right now off the top of my head. Haven't seen the video yet, but i'm sure it's awesome!

tomorrow should be sweet!
