The Carlyle group is what I was talking about. I see where you are coming from.

The Dems are going to eat themselves alive before the primaries:biggrin:
Insight Magazine, which is owned by the same company as The Washington Times, reported on its Web site last week that associates of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, had unearthed information the Illinois Democrat and likely presidential candidate attended a Muslim religious school known for teaching the most fundamentalist form of Islam.

This election cycle is going to be entertaining.
Edit: Doh! Gyption beat me to it.
This could be fun indeed, 'cause that lady is cunning. She's been thinking about this her whole life. Maybe she's her own Karl Rove...?Quote:
"I'm in... I'm in it to win... and I intend to do so."
-Hillary Rodham Clinton, 1/21/07
It(the definition of cunning) also describes Rove's career to a T, if you know anything about him.
His first political marketing campaign was based on lies, back in college.
Check out 'Bush's brain'...
If there ever was a more blatant political manipulist, I would think that Rove would win the awards show handily.
The profound success of his campaign based on blatant lies is sure to go down in history as ground-breaking, given this generation's scrutiny by a rabid fourth estate (the media, for the dullards out there).
I would imagine that campaign managers of all stripes will be utilising whatever they can from his truly diobolical success promoting Bush and Cheney...anyone who can make those two come as far as they have without assasination or impeachment is probably worth emulating.
Politics...it is what it is, whatever side you are on. Always has been, always will...until we are all destroyed by the effects of Global Warming, and bad refried beans at Taco Bell.
They won the culture wars, remember?
Sandra Bullock, OTOH, is very, very fuckable.
Let's focus on the germaine.
Too bad we can't elect a libertarian.
I'd vote for Obama. Not for Hillary though, and it has nothing to do with her chromosomes. If a smart, tough, plain-talking fiscally conservative woman was to run, I'd vote for her.
It's a shame we're stuck with these two parties and that a vote for anything else is just aiding the party with the best odds.
Since when are all Muslim Schools bad? He lived in a Muslim country, his folks - to their great credit - decided he should learn something about that place first hand and sent him to the local school. I went to a German school in Germany. This doesn't make me a Nazi. I know several maggots who went to Catholic school yet ended up not fucking any Altar Boys.
You people need to get a goddamn grip.
No, because there is way better options. Also I'm all set with giving him and his friends my money.

"Social Security
Social Security is more than just a retirement plan; it is also a program of social insurance. And it has been one of the most successful government programs in our nation’s history. Senator Obama has fought to prevent the privatization of Social Security"
More cops that's a great way to spend more of my money.
"Crime
Senator Obama is a strong proponent of tougher measures to fight crime, in particular the growing problem of methamphetamines, which has ravaged many communities in Illinois. He has also advocated providing more resources to local law enforcement officers."
I think you're taking it personal Tip. I'm just saying the general population isn't going to like a former Muslim heading their country after all this recent terrorism. You and I may be able to decipher, but the general public??
It's no different than your statement here:
---------------------------------------------------------Quote:
I think Hillary Clinton is unelectable. There's no way in fucking hell that this mostly conservative country is going to vote for the person whose husband was impeached for getting a blowjob from an employee as the first Female POTUS. No way in hell.
McCain 08!!!!!!!!!!
Hillary came out against the pardon of the FALN terrorists during her campaign as it states in your link.
So that should answer your question.Quote:
The commutation was opposed by U.S. Attorney's Office, the FBI, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons and criticised by many including former victims of FALN terrorist activities, the Fraternal Order of Police [4], members of Congress, and Hillary Clinton in her campaign for Senator.
Ouch that had to hurt. Another double standard I see.
Why are you including logic into politics?
I would vote for 10 Muslims (not that Obama is, because he is not) before I would ever vote for McCain. He is the biggest proponent of sending more troops to Iraq. He totally caved on the torture issue, which is especially sad considering he himself was tortured for so long.
He has been doing his best to hire and get on board with those closest to Bush. That will play horribly with everyone except the 24% who still approve of Bush.
McCain will be destroyed from within his own party. The fundies can't stand him.
because Scooter Libby was Rich's lawyer means absolutely nothing regarding Rich's guilt. Nor does it have any bearing on Scooter Libby's personal leanings whatever they may be.
The favor from the Peurto rican vote had been procured. Wouldn't you come out as tough against terror? even pre 9/11.
