some of you guys think you suck?
i've probably got 1000+ days each at:
Song Mt.
Labrador Mt.
at least i'm dedicated
the crack of dawn - thousands and thousands
Squaw-lived there for 5 years. Have probably 40-50 days there when not living
there. So 600-700
Mammoth-Went there about 20 days a year in college, now get up there about
30 days a year. Probably 200-250 days total.
Bel Eayre(sp?)
Hunter
Catamount
Mt. Snow
Mad River
Those were from my younger days.
EDIT: I should include Mt. Baldy. I get to Mammoth 2-3 weekends a month but any weekend I don't go to Mammoth I get at least one day at Baldy, if it gets snow. The last three seasons have been very good, with plenty of days of lot runs. Baldy is really a gem, 35 degree pitches an hour and twenty minutes from Orange County.
I would say probably 20-30 days at Baldy. Maybe 20 at Alpine Meadows too.
Sugarloaf USA (Home mountain growing up)
Bridger Bowl (4 years of college so far with 40+ day seasons)
are the top two contenders
Then definitely dozens of days at many:
Sunday River
Lost Valley
Jackson Hole
Saddleback
Mt. Abram
And then single to a dozen days at many
Cannon: 250-300
Alta: 200
Las Lenas: 150
Snowbird: 100
Verbier: 100
A Basin: 100
Gulmarg: 60
Lots of other places, 20 or less.
Cool thread.

Bristol Mtn. in upstate NY - hundreds of days/nights growing up
Copper - 60-70 over the past couple of years
A Basin - 10-15

Winter Park - less than 10
Crested Butte - 1 time
Vail - 1 time
Stowe - 1 time

Nothing in comparison to that list . . .
In no particular order:
*Pat's Peak - as a kid learning.
*Loon
*Cannon
*AttiCRASH
*Sugarloaf
*Wildcat and across the street but that's for a different thread.
*LazySundayRiver. . . yawn!
*Jay Peak . . . just barely but many more years of bliss to follow!
*Telluride 92-95 Can't wait to go back now! Maybe this winter?!
*Steamboat 91-92
Since we're just naming every place we've skied now.

EDIT: With the exception of a few they are hills. :p
I rode wawachusette almost every weekday they were open for 3 straight years. that hill blows, better than nothing.
Conversely I road the same girl everyday for over 4 years, yes even the "special" days, just rode switch.:fmicon:
Hey Ive ridden 93 mountains in 19 states at last count, but no time to list them all here. I have about 200+ days on snow In Windham NY, so that # 1, Now Im mostly west coast, a few different mountains every year.
Back in College I was all about this little dopey hill in Ny Near Lake Geaorge Called Hickory Hill that I remeber the most, prob skiied there 40 times... no grooming, snowmaking, hell there are hardly and trails and no lifts; just a high speed detachable Poma to drag you up the side.
Here why its tits:
Stupid cheap, only open on weekends, all the snow piles up all week, then its freshies in the glades pretty much all day about as good as your gonna get on the east coast. Anybody been lately? If its still open and Still the same, Im jonesing to go back.
