BC Backcountry Lodge Review

yeah I used to live in PG, I think i been to Dezaiko at least 4 times ^^ mayeb 6 ? cuz if you live up narth its real easy to get to Dezaiko or Burnie or Dave Henry which arre all along hy 16, whereas yer GAH or anything down south and east is not

IME it didn't matter how fucked up aviy conditions are there was skiing on that ridge looker right above the lodge, last time there the guide would kick off big sluffs and we and we skied it

I know Bryce and I know his dad, it sounds like they did some work on the lodge

people should check Dezaiko out

Food was great. They had a chef Brenda who mined a lot of recipes from the Whitewater Cooks cookbook which Sorcerer Lodge also used for many of their meals. We were a group of 8 hungry men where hardly any leftovers remained. Other skiers in our group had visited many other ski lodges around the Selkirks and were satisfied with our chef. Overall, they found it surprising that this lodge remained unknown to many. It was cheaper than others, and still had 7 day bookings, especially when operations like Battle Abbey are changing their business model to shorter stays.

I was on the trip with abcdethan and am shocked that Dezaiko is not on more peoples short lists. Fantastic tree terrain, really well done lodge, great food, plus the owners Bryce and Tisha are a delight. We had spectacular conditions, but I am guessing cold and light snow is pretty common up there. While Prince George is off the beaten path, Dezaiko shuttles you in so it is actually an easier journey than anything out of Revy or Golden. Definitely a lodge I will be returning to.</p>

The only issue is have to be guided

Craig used to allow self guide BUT with a hut custodian that person being either him or Bonnie</p>

having been a local I recognise a very strong biathelete family connection in the hut bio &nbsp; and i have skied with some of those people</p>
