Site is responsive but clicking on threads takes me to an advertisement, not the thread.
working good and fast at the moment
Wasn’t loading for a brief period today, loads fine again but the layout has changed with Standard TGR White format. The thread title font is smaller and/or the thread author font is larger. Not a big deal, still readable, just odd looking.
Cannot upload photos, running slow.
I can't get the edit or reply with quote buttons to work.
Same, and if I have someone on ignore (CE) I cannot view their stupid fucking posts. So I have that going for me.
can't upload photos. can't view most photos. reply to thread doesn't work. reply with quote doesn't work.
Todd, this shit is fucked. we don't want to become a squeaky wheel, but we will do what we must to get the grease.
I can’t see Viva’s posts in the padded room!

Can't reply to posts without Tapatalk. Nice knowing you all if the curtain comes down

Well it looks like all the ads are gone on the right side of the page, at least from my laptop. That could be a source of all of the problems. Maybe? They were going haywire the last few days from what I saw.
I mean the ads when you click on a thread. They are still there on the front page. I'd edit my original post but I can't, just a spinning wheel. Bummer.
Between the bad Gateways, the broken buttons and features and all the bullshit that has nothing to do with snow or skiing, I am done.
Maybe I will drop back in but I think I need a 2 week break.
If the site is still functioning.
Later taters.
Site running at glacial pace again this morning.

It's loading normally now, but can't view any pictures. Is it better to burn out than to fade away?
Love to everyone that keeps this place running, as thankless and as difficult as that may be, but I fear Bunion has a point. It's not worth poking around if the site doesn't work.
Just in case anyone is wondering, here's the list of things that aren't working for me, YMMV (I use full desktop on Chrome for my laptop/desktop and full desktop on Safari on iPhone and the problems are the same):
1. Slow load times per page (30 seconds plus).
2. "Double post; wait 45 seconds" warning every single time I post. It used to just show you your new post at the end of the thread but not for a while; always this error message.
3. The quick links at the bottom of the thread are gone. They were individual links, one for the thread you're currently viewing, then next to that the forum you're viewing, and then for the general 'forums', all in a row.
4. "CHECK OUT OUR SHOP" floating circle is now forever in the lower right hand corner. That's fine, Todd, just take a few of those click $$s and make the site work at 2006 levels please.
5. Edit post function does not work. Click on it and it just 'spins'.
I have to think the low functionality/performance has caused a ton of long time posters to just tune out, and I fear that will continue. Sure, as long as this url still has a landing page it will continue to evolve in some fashion, I just think the brand associated with this place is losing so much more than clicks to the online store by letting this odd corner of the interweb die a slow death.
^ x2 on the "edit post" and "reply with quote" functions. Both do not work. Can't delete posts either.
And now pic uploader is resulting in broken attachments.
what i don't get in all of this is the collectives pretty ubiquitous willingness to chip in to keep this place running and...crickets. i have a hard time believing this sentiment hasn't been seen directly by or made its way back to someone with a voice in Wilson.
Didn't look like the box fan was at home last time through Wilson.

Old links and photos are dead all over the place. Rough time to try and have a conversation about skis. I really hope that we can get this site up and running fully again. I know myself and many other here would chip in a few bucks to keep this old girl working
Sure would be nice for someone to chime in on wtf is going on
FWIW…TGR complaint list:
-So slow/does not load threads in a timely manner
-Number emoji disaster
-When viewing threads/ does not go to newest post. Takes me really far back into the thread.
All this makes using TGR site pretty time wasteful/ cuz I’m logging in/out, restarting, etc. all the time to get it to flow better.
I jump around to SkiTalk too…but that site has been wonky too…and a lot of posters are a way too nerdy for me….so I usually like to use TGR as “my go to”.
I’m running out of options to fulfill my gear/ski news….
not just the forums. main site is fucked too.
Have they gone tits up in Wilson? Is it over. Can we get this moved, would be nice to have the 25yr history of this place.

Can’t Harry or some other deep pocket dentist here buy this fucking site and preserve it properly?
how would a mag entity even go about acquiring this place? like would we buy the forum license or whatever from TGR and have everything moved to our own server?
"There are currently 15085 users browsing this forum. (86 members & 14999 guests)"
That's a fuckton of users.
El tráfico es un problema?
lurkers gonna lurk...
Bots gonna bot is more like it
I just hope Tedski, Jer, Timberridge, DrWhat and Benny are among those 14,999.
We see you fellas.
I’ve noticed those numbers as well but isn’t it just as likely that counter is as fucked as the rest of the site?
I'd pay a small subscription to keep this going as well.
Apologies for the two extra threads I've made in GS trying to sell some bindings.
I'd pay a small subscription fee also
Is anyone here friends with people at HQ?

Interesting that the unsupported app is the only way to post. I hope it snows more soon.

My god the site has been shit lately. Can't upload photos, quote posts, edit posts, etc.
