Have recently sold the Line Blades, Salomon Blanks, Nomad 115s, Enforcer 104s, Proto 118s, M-Free 99s and Rustler 11s....all very good skis that I was sad to see go.

Picking up a pair of 121's (191) mounted with Griffon's (meh) this weekend. Figured for $275(cdn), they're at least worth giving a try. I haven't had a deep snow ski in the quiver since I sold my old Surface New Life's a few years back, so glad to fill that void.

Looking to grab some spring ski deals for next year. 184's Here, 160 lbs, directional, smooth skier with suspect knees. YMMV.
I skied them -2.0cm (about 5cm back from center). They were OK, but not as good as they are at -3.5 (close to 6.5 behind center). Much better for me, still plenty of tail to schmear. Friends up in AK are all skiing the R121 5-7cm back, so I tried it and am not disappointed. No downsides yet, surprisingly fun on soft groomed. Kinda want to try 191's
I've gone -3 from recommended on 191 and liked them there. Can't compare to the recommended, but they were very maneuverable in deep powder. That was two years ago. If I snag another pair this year, I will definitely mount the same way.

I also hopped in on the ski essential deal. As I’ve been very curious about this ski for a while. Keep us posted Bandit as to where you think they feel best. I imagine I’ll mount back of recommended, but not sure how far.
I've got my 121s mounted -3.5 from recommended and they feel excellent there.
Not sure if this belongs here, but I got myself a cheap pair of last year's Revolt 96 last month as an early season hardpack groomer ski.
While billed as a park/freeride ski, the reviews I read all said it slanted more towards freeride and I wanted something a bit narrower than my Ripstick 106s.
My big dilemma was where to mount as the rec line is pretty much right at true center and I'm never gonna ski backwards, spin or go in the park. I settled on about 5cm back and pretty happy with it. I've put about 7-8 days on 'em so far although they're really heavy to hoist on my shoulder, they don't really ski heavy. Since they're new skis, the edge grip has been just fine, even though there's no metal in 'em.

Just another point of observation on the Revolt 104s... I have had the 180cm Fox version (from the first year they came out), mounted at recommended -1.75 from center and it's fun for a noodly-surfy-park ski. The back half feels softer than the front half, where if you ski it centered/slightly forward it offers reasonable support, but if you just straight up surf it from the back seat it's a unique experience. I'd love to try the 188 at like -3 or -4cm from center just to get more ski out in front and see if it feels more versatile in steeper "real" terrain, cause right now I just leave it at home if I'm feeling at all serious about the day.

Picked these up for ~$260US delivered with tax on Black Friday! Glad I did.
Mine straight pull at 182cm and I'm mounted 87.5cm from tail, so -3.5cm and they felt great there. No tip dive in pow but you gotta stay centered, and keep some pressure on the tails.
Got 12 hours notice of a cancellation so am lucky enough to be taking these cat skiing near Revy for 4 days next week will compare to Renegades and HL R120's in pow.

Measured between the Solly Strive brake bars earlier today on a diff pair of skis. One twenty one plus millimeters bar to bar so you are good to go without even a mild stretch with the one fifteens imo.Quote:

I’ve been skiing my revolt one twenny onez a bunch this last couple weeks during our big storm cycle. Mounted at -4 from center/-0.5 from rec. Really really fun ski and very glad I grabbed a pair.
They won’t replace my Rens but I’ll keep both I’d say. Revolts maybe more fun as a resort pow ski with that bit of camber and heavier weight, but lack that frictionless, almost R/R feel that the Rens have.

Don't see as much info on the 104. I've only skied it as my tele ski which I'm mediocre at. But it's been a great ski where you want a manipulative tail. Fairly soft with a pintail profile. Great for pivoting the ski. Particularly good for the inside ski on a tele turn. The multiple turn radii does take some getting used to, but once you figure it out (whether it ACTUALLY gives multiple turn radii or not) it's pretty intuitive.
I will likely mount it up for alpine as well. It gives me some nostalgia to the reverse camber Gotama - another ski I really liked. Definitely appeals to a skier that relies on the sidecut rather than camber as it's noticeably close to flat.
I think the 104 has flown under the radar for the skier that has previously appreciated flat camber or skis close to it. i.e. Gotama, sickle, stormrider TT, Nordica Zero.
