Can't believe Trout is only 25. That's nuts.
I've always liked Arroyo, seemed like a chill dude and happy to see him take advantage of an opportunity with the Reds after 3 years out of the game.
In the "Things That Annoy You" baseball edition: watching a game played in Oakland. That incessant drumming is driving me nuts watching the Mariners-A's game.
John Adams looks at you in a disapproving manner.

From memory I think he's been beating his rally drum at every game since the 70s. While holding down his union job.
That's the American dream right there.
Was he inspired by the Todd Rundgren song?
Chris Davis looks like the guy who takes slow pitch softball way too seriously.
Madison Bumgarner to the DL from a dirt bike accident?
That has to be prohibited in his contract.
That other kook with the banjo was around all the time during the good days...then he moved on. Think he even went to the Giants for awhile. Looking older in some pics, maybe he is still doing it.

But nobody beats Crazy George, the alleged creator of The Wave. Love him or hate him for that, but he used to really get the party started.

Hey chowds....
THE YANKEES WIN, T-H-E-E-E-E-E YANKEES WIN!
Remember the days of legends, mystique and aura? October?
now we have irul and his Yankees friends jerking each other off cause they went 12-7 the first 4 weeks of april.
Good news Chowds. If you check out the cool science thread you'll see that you're not too far off from seeing a reanimated corpse of a dead Chinaman with Ted Williams' head raking for your team next year.
Maybe that was the real intent of that head shot at Machado. Nothing personal, we just need the body.
Ok, so now that it is sinking in, I am laughing at the thought of Teddy looking down and going all Sam Kinison on his new "Chinaman" body.

Bleachers at Fenway. Cubs fans outnumber Sox fans 2-1
The Yankees win...again
Nope just bad timing. I'll let you know when it's too much
You don't tell another man when he's had too much to drink cause it's nobody's business to tell him anyway
Let me help you out. ;)
In other thread-related news the Tribe is really showing off their high-octane offense behind their routinely impressive starters and most intimidating bullpen.
New prediction to go with Frankie Lindor MVP: Carlos "Cookie" Carrasco Cy Young.
Holy shit this Cubs/Sox series has been fun. Lots of good ball being played.
Let's do this again in October, eh?
Sox take the lead!!
I wouldn't count on it. :D

Definitely marquee matchup living up to the hype.
Umpires becoming more and more irrelevant the more they go to replay on close plays. Do we really need to be sure that the one guys spike came down 0.00001 seconds before the other? Make the call and play on. Or give someone 10 seconds to look at replay and make an executive decision.
Sorry, carry on.
If Judge can just keep this going for 15-20 more years, he'll really have had a nice career.
That's some seriously bad PR the last 24 hours, Chowds.
Extra security, Jones meeting with the Sox president today... but I have to say it was pretty classy of the fans to applaud him when he came to the plate tonight. Nice way to say that you're not all assholes. ;)
