When I click the link in the top nav bar for "Gear Swap" I get an error stating that "This webpage has a redirect loop." When I go to the forum index page, I can get into the Gear Swap (List View) section just fine, but get the redirect loop error when I go to Gear Swap (Marketplace).

Panjo marketplace sucks ass anyways, so I actually prefer it if it doesn't work, but having a functional link the the list view version of Gear Swap in the top navbar would be nice.

Also, the font face inconsistency is really annoying.

The line dividing the poster's signature from their post is really really light in color and almost impossible to see. This line should be darker, and the signatures should not be in bold font.

Windows 7, Chrome, white theme.

Reply with quote has worked this way for a long time. Click once and a dialog box appears underneath the post you are trying to quote, press again and you go to the advanced reply screen. Or at least that's what I have seen for years on OS X. Works the same on Chrome and FF for me today.

Clicking once gets a wheel of never ending futility for me...

-"Go To First New Post" button is now available and to the left of the thread title.
-Thread titles now in lower case and letters that poke below justification line no longer get cut off.
A few updates:

-White on white text on the left of profiles has been fixed
-Unreadable text in Post Quick Reply/Go Advanced/Cancel has been fixed
-New Posts and Forum Homepage options now available in drop-down menu
-Text in forum search bar no longer white on white
-PollyAss has been removed form the drop-down menu

Buttahflake.

With flickr you need to make sure to set what size you want to share and use the BB code copy and paste as is into TGR. Look at the attachments. The Flickr one is what you should see in Flickr, the second one is how it would be pasted into TGR that would display a link to your flickr. If you select just what I highlighted in blue, the picture will appear with no linkback to your flickr.

And for people who are experiencing slow load times, is it only on specific parts of the forums/specific threads, or all over the place?

I like the TGR Blue, but in the thread lists, the last posted date and go to last post button are the same color as the background.

We have migrated hosts/servers, etc so yes this was needed. Thanks for working with us on these loose ends.

Load times are a bit slow

Padded Room is showing up in the new posts which is bloody good - I've had to go specifically to it for the last 2 or 3 years which has been a pain

and speaking of pain: polyass is choking up the new posts as usual - can you make that section sub/unsub

I also have this problem. Again, Chrome, Windows 7, desktop.

And the Reply With Quote button requiring two clicks is fucking annoying. it would be fine if the first click opened a quick reply window like it used to, but it doesn't.

Half of the emoticons don't show up. See attachment.

Edit: when I had the editor set to the WYSIWYG editor, it also deleted all of my paragraph spaces and wedged everything together into one unintelligible string. Standard editor fixed that at least.

Then you've been doing it wrong. It won't show up in new posts until you verify you are OK with the content via clicking yes. Once you do that, it will show up in the new posts searches. When I purge my browser of cookies and shit, I have to redo that, but I normally leave stuff on and haven't had to manually do it until today in quite a long time.

the new font/layout suck balls, hard to read, feels like its making me go all cross eyed. White skin sucks slightly less but its in now way an improvement.

when I type a reply in the Quick Reply box its a serif font (ie better, can actually read it) but after its posted it goes to the sans-serif. Did team TGR take a bunch of acid to get the font selecting party going?

The fonts, the colors, the layout, the spacing -- it all sucks.

To the TGR webguys/Dunfee/whoever is remodeling this place -- here's an example of a legible, well-laid-out forum, that looks like it is using the same software as TGR. Take a look at it, and compare for yourself:

TGR ain't the only one. New LA Times website looks like shit too, as does the new RGJ website.

Boston.com looks the same. Everyone is going this route. Almost looks like a muse site but not as slick.
And that's saying something as muse is made for people with zero coding skill.

It just took ~4 seconds to refresh this page. To get here from main menu was just now so slow it actually stopped.... seems to be everywhere.

Don't even dare suggest it's my connection.

Edit: sending this post took several second too.

I have quite a few movie screen grabs at work of how long it takes to load new posts. Like brit, one time it timed out after a minute. I assumed that was because some work was going on under the hood and didn't bother complaining. If it continues tomorrow I'll let you know with video.

But with the continuous overbearing ads, the constant advantlinks and the ridiculous marketplace, this place has long ago become nothing but money to them.
And I think that has been plainly obvious no matter what they say their ambitions are (but they don't talk to us anyway).
Until today you couldn't even get a fucking straight answer about their app not working.

Noted on the polyass shit in new post page. I edited DD's post a little prematurely. We wanna create a structure in which some of the very basic standards of human decency are honored here. We're thinking the best way about how to do so, but banning rog was a part of that philosophy, as was this. You'll never see me apologize for deleting or editing anyone's homophobic or racial slurs, though.

This forum has operated as a little enclave of limited and largely invisible moderation for a very long time. That's relatively unique as far as message boards go and part of what keeps me coming back. Please don't fuck that up.
